The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer represents the seventh model year of the fifth-generation midsize crossover SUV, for which it receives a few small changes. GM Authority is now delving into everything that’s new and different about the 2025 Chevy Blazer.
Model Cadence
For those keeping track, the 2025 Blazer traces its roots back to the 2019 Blazer, which was the inaugural model year of the current model. From there, the crossover received a mid-cycle refresh for the 2023 model year.

Where To From Here?
And that’s everything that’s new and different about the 2025 Chevy Blazer. As GM Authority was first to report, the 2025 model will be the last for the internal combustion-powered Blazer in North America. That said, we’re now hearing rumblings that GM is considering extending production into 2026, though a final decision hasn’t been made just yet. We’ll be here to report the latest, so be sure to subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevy Blazer news, Chevy news, and obsessive GM news coverage.

Let’s hope they extend ICE production into 2026
Every time they announce the end of a vehicle two years in advance sales drop. Look at the Impala, Malibu and Camaro. Gm ends advertising then announces line end dates a couple years in advance and sales fell. Cars were sitting on dealer lots. ICE Blazers will have the same fate.
Is this a puzzle? try and 5 New things in this article
Deleting three colors, adding one color, and making a color available with the Redline Edition.
So if the ICE Blazer, XT5 and XT6 are discontinued, I’m assuming there will be no 2 row ICE SUV’s available from GM with over 200 HP?

Made in China..no thanks
Do not want cvt. And don’t like only all wheel drive.
Thanks
I’m not aware that it’s a cvt transmission. It’s a 9 speed but nowhere on my window stick or any info can I find that it’s a cvt. The equinox fwd has a cvt.
It’s also available in front and all wheel drive. I have an AWD simply for the trailer hitch and it is selectable when it’s in AWD which is rarely ever. I think once when I have driven it and two or three times when my gf has driven it.
+3 colors and -1 color = 5 changes? Oh, I forgot the click bait makes it 5.
Still a sharp looking vehicle. If it’s truly going away. Should have twin turboed it and gotten an SS.
@Papa:
– 3 deleted colors: three changes
– 1 new color: four changes
– 1 package-level change: five changes
I won’t hold my breath for you to come back and apologize for your clickbait comment.
Going to battery only. 🤮
