The automaker’s commercial arm in Ecuador announced the arrival of the new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV to the domestic market of that country, officially launching the model in a single variant as the Bow Tie brand’s most innovative and sophisticated zero-emission utility vehicle to date. According to the company, the 2025 Blazer EV redefines the crossover concept by combining technology and electrification with a strikingly sporty design.

“At Chevrolet, we reaffirm our commitment to a cleaner and safer future. With the arrival of the Blazer EV, we are not only introducing a vehicle that is exciting to drive, but also a sporty electric model that stands out anywhere,” said Chevrolet Product Manager in Ecuador, Juan Fernando Muñoz. “This launch reaffirms our commitment to reducing emissions, promoting safety and improving the driving experience for our users,” he added.

Like the other Latin American countries in which it has been introduced, the new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV was launched in Ecuador in a single configuration corresponding to the RS trim level with a two-motor setup and AWD. As such, the crossover offers 300 horsepower and 355 pound-feet of torque, fed by an 85 kWh battery pack allowing for a driving range of up to 578 kilometers (359 miles).

Additionally, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV RS units for the Ecuadorian market come standard with the highest level of connectivity, using the massive 17.7-inch infotainment screen with Google built-in, the customizable 11-inch digital driver instrument cluster, advanced OnStar services and more. They also incorporate a comprehensive Chevy Safety Assist package with the entire suite of drive assist systems available on the model worldwide.

The new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV RS is now available for sale at the official Chevrolet EV dealer network in Ecuador, made up of a number of selected stores in the main cities of the country capable of selling and providing technical support to the brand’s zero-emission models. Interested customers will be able to choose their Blazer EV in White, Black, Silver, Wine and Blue.

The price of the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV in Ecuador is $59,990 USD, the official currency of the South American country.

    1. GM’s EV sales basically doubled year over year. Not sure how that equates to “nobody” wanting them. As new models launch, the sales increase is accelerating.

  2. I like it. It doesn’t have GM’s typical grey rat fur interior, nice.
