The phrase “fake it ‘till you make it” can resonate with all kinds of folks, and certainly works when applied correctly. However, whether or not this custom Chevy Avalanche is a good example of that is a matter of debate.
Recently posted online via social media, this unique Chevy Avalanche build appears to merge elements of a Rolls-Royce-inspired design with the rugged practicality of the Chevy Avalanche, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle. But does it work?
Viewed from the front, we find this Avalanche rocking a custom grille that’s obviously inspired by Rolls-Royce, featuring vertical slats and a prominent black surround mimicking the luxury brand’s iconic design language. Complementing the grille are square headlights with blue-tinted lighting elements, further amplifying the custom aesthetic. The modified front fascia includes extended bumpers and a smoothed-out finish, adding a dash of futuristic style to the mix.
That said, the side profile remains largely faithful to the Avalanche’s original design, with the exception of plus-sized wheels presenting an intricate, multi-spoke layout, likely inspired by high-end luxury vehicles. Additionally, the running boards have been customized to extend the visual line of the vehicle, contributing to its low-slung, dramatic stance.
The rear of the vehicle showcases further modifications, with the tailgate and bumper receiving a custom treatment to smooth out the bespoke body work. A color-matched matte blue paint job covers the entire vehicle, giving it a cohesive, albeit unconventional, finish. Dual exhaust tips peek out from the rear bumper.
Despite the fact that this thing is clearly a Chevy Avalanche, the effort and attention to detail poured into its creation are undeniable. While purists and critics might balk at the mashup, it’s hard not to admire the owner’s commitment to crafting their own personal dream vehicle.
After all, at the end of the day, automotive customization is about personal expression, and this Avalanche-turned-Rolls-Royce is no different. Whether it earns admiration or criticism, it’s sure to turn heads wherever it goes. And isn’t that the whole point?

Creative but by someone with WAY too much free time. Heck no, is my answer.
I can’t stand people that do this poser nonsense. I knew a guy in high school who put GT-R badges on a Ford Probe. Used to make me cringe whenever I saw that.
Sometimes you have to call “ugly” what it is.
It’s even uglier than Musk’s cybertruck, and you have to go some to beat that.
Uglier than Bezos wife!
Don, come on now, I think she’s kind of cute, you know like Eleanor Roosevelt cute.
No.
If you bought a early 2000’s GM product with all that plastic cladding/growths, nowhere to go but up from that.
It looks Cross-eyed.
