According to a recently released Customer Satisfaction Program from General Motors, certain 2025 Buick Enclave crossovers need the transmission turbine shaft seal replaced.
According to the bulletin, some Buick Enclave units may have a condition in which the transmission turbine shaft seal was disassembled.
The models that may need new transmission turbine shaft seals include the following, according to Customer Satisfaction Program number N242473580.
- 2024-2025 Chevy Traverse
- 2024 GMC Acadia
- 2025 Buick Enclave
These vehicles are marked in the GM Global Warranty Management system, with their Investigate Vehicle History screen containing the notice “Open” to indicate the repairs are needed. The customer satisfaction program is in effect until December 31st, 2026.
This customer satisfaction program only affects the third-generation Buick Enclave, which was introduced for the 2025 model year. The previous-generation Enclave is unaffected because it uses a different transmission.
Another recent service bulletin for the new 2025 Buick Enclave called for a new brake master cylinder in some units. A missing internal cartridge seal in the eBoost module of the brake master cylinder can cause brake fluid leakage and reduce brake effectiveness in affected units.
To recap, the 2025 Buick Enclave rolls out the third generation of the Tri-Shield brand’s three-row crossover. The vehicle features fresh styling inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept, including an updated grille, front and rear fasciae, and LED lighting signatures. The interior features a 30-inch infotainment display in an overhauled cockpit, along with an array of safety tech that includes Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Departure Warning.
The turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine provides motivation to all trim levels of the 2025 Enclave, rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. The GM eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with the four-cylinder engine to send power to the pavement, while front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are offered.
Pricing for the Enclave starts at $46,395 MSRP for the Preferred trim with FWD or $48,395 when equipped with AWD. At the high end, the Avenir starts at $59,395 and $61,395, respectively, with these drivetrain configurations. These prices include a $1,395 destination freight charge.
Beneath the sheet metal, the 2025 Enclave continues to be underpinned by the GM C1 platform. The GM Lansing Township plant in Michigan is the crossover’s production site.

Third gen Enclave with its third iteration of transmissions and third iteration of transmission issues. New model problems are not exclusive to gm, but transmissions used to be a strength of this company.
$60,000+
Multiple “customer satisfaction programs” (sound like recalls to me).
4 cylinders.
GM, I should consider this vehicle because…?
And so it begins…..
yeah There will be many more recalls before the year is over for sure!!!!
Seems no one can makes parts right anymore. All car manufacturers are having issues. Either these 3rd party companies are terrible or nobody cares about quality anymore
“nobody cares about quality anymore”
Nailed it. The amount of apathy and “give a #” since Covid is unreal.
