18-Inch Gloss Black Painted Aluminum Wheel (RQ8)

Let’s break down three of the options, starting with the 18-Inch Gloss Black Painted Aluminum Wheel (RPO code RQ8). This wheel was equipped as standard on Sierra AT4X models between the 2022 and 2023 models, presenting a high-gloss black finish that emphasizes the bold, off-road-ready nature of the truck. The clean, minimalist spoke design adds a touch of simplicity, while the solid black color enhances the aggressive aesthetic. Its durable construction is ideal for rugged terrains while maintaining a premium, high-end look.

18-Inch Painted Aluminum Wheel with Dark Painted Pockets (57R)

For the 2024 model year, the Sierra AT4X transitioned to the 18-Inch Painted Aluminum Wheel with Dark Painted Pockets (RPO code 57R), offering a more technical look. The 57R wheels incorporate thin aluminum spokes with contrasting dark painted sections, adding depth and visual complexity. The darker accents complement the truck’s bold trims, while the painted aluminum highlights enhance the wheel’s dimensional appearance.

18-Inch 12-Spoke High Gloss Black Aluminum Wheel with Laser Etching and AEV Center Cap (Q89)

Finally, we have the 18-Inch 12-Spoke High Gloss Black Aluminum Wheel with Laser Etching and AEV Center Cap (RPO Code Q89). These are exclusive to the Sierra AT4X AEV Edition, and feature an AEV-branded center cap that adds another layer of distinction, signaling the truck’s elite off-road capabilities and making it a standout option for off-roading enthusiasts.

Each of these wheel options enhances the style of the GMC Sierra AT4X, as well as its capabilities in the rough stuff. However, the question becomes this which of these designs do you think best suits the Sierra AT4X? Cast your vote in the poll and let us know your favorite!

As a reminder, the GMC Sierra AT4X is offered with two powertrain options, including the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax. All fourth-gen Sierra 1500 variants ride on the GM T1 platform. Vehicle production takes place at the GM Silao plant in Mexico and the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana.
