The 2025 Chevy Express arrives on the scene as the 30th model year of the highly successful cargo and passenger van, introducing only a few updates to the hard-working design. Now, we’re taking a look at the available Chevy Express wheels.
In total, three styles of 2025 Chevy Express wheels are offered to buyers, with the assortment unchanged from the 2024 lineup’s wheel selection. We can see the rollers in the images here:
All three styles of Chevy Express wheels for the 2025 model year are 16 inches in diameter. One style is standard across all four variants, including the Cargo, Cutaway, Passenger LS and Passenger LT.
The other types of wheels are optional. One is offered exclusively on the Cutaway version, while the other is once again available on all four variants of the van, priced at an additional $25. The following table summarizes all the details of the available 2025 Chevy Express wheels:
RPO Code | Cargo | Cutaway | Passenger LS | Passenger LT | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
16-inch painted steel wheel (with single rear wheel configuration) | QB5 | S | S | S | S |
16-inch painted steel wheel (with dual rear wheel configuration) | QT4 | - | A | - | - |
16-inch White-painted steel wheel finish (with single rear wheel configuration) | 40P | A – $25 | A – $25 | A – $25 | A – $25 |
Pricing of the 2025 Express in its Cargo format, as previously uncovered by GM Authority, starts at the lower end with the Express 2500 Cargo configuration featuring a starting MSRP of $43,695. The most expensive variant, the Express 3500 Extended Cargo, costs $48,445 as a base number before options and add-ons. Passenger versions of the Express are somewhat pricier – $49,245 at the low end for the Express 2500 LS Passenger and $52,945 at the high end for the Express 3500 Extended LT Passenger.
A destination freight charge of $1,895 is included in these figures. The 2025 Express drops one of the previously available audio system options, specifically the AM/FM stereo with MP3 player and USB port (RPO code U0H). New for the model year at $675 is the dealer-installed Rearview Camera Mirror (RPO code 5BJ). Buyers can try out various builds and options using the currently live online configurator.
Two powerplant choices are offered for the van. Standard fare is the naturally aspirated 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine developing 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque. Optionally, the vehicle can equip the atmospheric 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque.
The GMT 610 platform, which also underpins the GMC Savana, provides the bones for the Express. Some Express Cutaway models are produced in Ohio by Navistar, while most variants roll off the assembly line at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.
Comments
So many options, color schemes and wheel choices. How is a purchaser to decide?
How many more articles can you milk out of this van?
How is a purchaser to decide? Easy. If it’s not a white V6 it probably isn’t getting built. Assuming your dealer got allocation and GM even takes the order.
Again, the Transit isn’t sweeping up the market because it’s better. It’s because Ford builds and delivers them and doesn’t waste their customers’ time.
Never seen upgrade the infotainment system
A new dash with with a nice infotainment system and a little bit of a new look, and maybe 1 new engine option would be awesome, leave the 6.6 .
Maybe the 3500 might need the Cutie or QT-4 option.
when will the diesel opt be available
So many wheel options from the 1990’s I’m sooo confused…….
You don’t even show the painted black wheel option. I ordered these on my 2014 & 2023 vans.
I was astonished to see that there was a single comment on this thread. Automotive news stories must be hard to come by these days!
