GM Authority has also previously discovered 2025 Express prices, which differ for Cargo and Passenger setups. The Cargo vans are slightly cheaper, with a starting MSRP of $43,695 for the Express 2500 Cargo at the lower end and a high-end base price of $48,445 for the Express 3500 Extended Cargo. The marginally more expensive passenger variant is priced at $49,245 for the Express 2500 LS Passenger, with the Express 3500 Extended LT Passenger at the higher end with $52,945 base.

The destination freight charge of $1,895 is already figured into these numbers. A new option for the 2025 model year is the LPO or dealer-installed Rearview Camera Mirror (RPO code 5BJ), which carries a price tag of $675. One option is also axed for the 2025 model, specifically the AM/FM stereo with MP3 player and USB port (RPO code U0H). We can try out different builds using the online configurator on Chevy’s website.

Two naturally aspirated powerplants are offered as propulsion for the 2025 Chevy Express. These include the atmospheric 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine cranking out 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque as standard, and the considerably more powerful, optional naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque.

The Express rides on the GMT 610 platform, shared with the GMC Savana, with production taking place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri. The Express Cutaway is also produced by Navistar at a separate facility in Ohio.

  • The two choices are within keeping as the most expensive GM luxury vehicle, the EV Escalade, two. Please stop using the stupid word colorways.

  • GM AUTHORITY, Please explain why the cargo vans can no longer be ordered with the larger V8. The V6 ,although fuel efficient, is barely capable of handling the average work load. I will trade my 2023 extended Cargo tomorrow for a V8 version.

    • Not again! we went through that during covid. i see alot of inventory with the 6.6. I have a 6.0 with 113k and a 6.6 with 13k love both but prefer the 6.6, better MPG to with the 6 speed.
