GMC Yukon Owner Figures Out Clever New Snow Removal Technique: Video

As winter continues to drag out across the nation, some folks out there are likely finding the daily snow removal chores to be a bit irritating. As such, parents may be looking to their kids to help out in getting all that fluffy white stuff off their cars and out of their driveway. But what if the young one in question is too small to wield a shovel? Funny enough, one GMC Yukon owner decided to give this frosty task a funny twist, enlisting the help of their kid in a somewhat unconventional way.

In a recent video, we see a driveway that’s blanketed in snow, with a GMC Yukon parked under a curtain of falling flakes. The SUV is seen with its hood, roof, and windshield heavily coated by the fresh powder.

Seems like a bit of a task to get it all cleared. However, one man has a novel solution. As the video gets underway, we see a man lifting a small child bundled in warm snow gear and placing the kid onto the hood of the Yukon. With broad, sweeping motions, the man effectively uses the child as a snow sweeper, gently gliding them across the hood to clear the snow.

It’s definitely not what we were expecting, but it seems effective enough. The technique is repeated on the SUV’s windshield and side windows, with the child remaining perfectly still, seemingly enjoying their new role as a pint-sized snow-removal tool.

Granted, we’d be a little bit wary about any buttons or zippers that could potentially scratch the SUV’s paint, but we’re willing to bet that was already calculated as part of the plan.

Ideally, the kid would be tasked with snow removal when they get a bit taller and can reach the top of the SUV, as well as stronger to remove the white stuff around the SUV using a shovel. For now, though, it looks like snow sweeper is the way to go.
