About GMC Terrain
The all-new 2025 GMC Terrain debuts with new exterior styling, now presenting a more rugged, truck-like appearance that mirrors styling updates seen elsewhere in the GMC lineup. It includes many safety features, and the latest tech features.
That includes a 15-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System as standard on the third-generation Terrain, which is complemented by an 11-inch-diagonal driver information center. These screens provide access to advanced technology, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and a suite of over 15 safety and driver assistance features. Notable safety features include Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, among others. The Terrain also offers up to eight available camera views, available 5G Wi-Fi, Rainsense wipers, and Heated wiper park for added convenience and safety.
A new Elevation trim level now serves as the base model of the lineup, replacing the SLE and SLT trims offered prior to the 2025 model year overhaul. It is the only trim available at launch. It offers a Black Edition package among others.
The more rugged AT4 and luxurious Denali trims launch later this year as part of the 2026 Terrain model-year lineup.
The powertrain remains unchanged from the previous model year, motivated again by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, rated at 175 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque when equipped with front-wheel drive, and 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque when equipped with all-wheel drive. Yet, the 2025 Terrain gets revised fuel economy ratings.
Pricing uncovered for the 2025 GMC Terrain shows the Elevation trim with front-wheel drive starting at $31,395, while the all-wheel drive configuration lists for $33,395. This includes a $1,395 destination freight charge, which remains unchanged. Pricing for the upcoming the AT4 and Denali have yet to be announced.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Terrain, and now live for the 2025 Terrain.
