All-New 2025 Buick Enclave Officially Launches In Mexico

Although Buick’s redesigned flagship crossover was slated to arrive in the country in late 2024, the all-new 2025 Buick Enclave has just officially launched in Mexico.

General Motors’ Mexican subsidiary launched the all-new 2025 Buick Enclave in the domestic market of that country several weeks after the previously established date, as the company had planned the launch for the last quarter of last year. Despite the delay, the redesigned 2025 Enclave arrives in Mexico to wrap up the renewal of Buick’s portfolio with a new design language, larger dimensions, and superior technological attributes.

“The 2025 Enclave, our flagship SUV, completes the renewal of the Buick portfolio under the Exceptional by Design philosophy, and joins the renewed Encore GX, Envista and Envision,” said Marketing Manager for Buick at GM Mexico, Tere Vera. “The third generation of this SUV will position itself as a preferred choice for our customers, thanks to its design details and functionality for daily life,” she added.

As GM Mexico had previously confirmed, the all-new 2025 Buick Enclave is being launched in the Mexican market in the Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir trim levels. Both versions of the new 2025 Enclave feature a distinctive appearance and unique finishes in both the exterior design and the cabin, adapting to the tastes of different customer profiles.

All third-generation 2025 Buick Enclave units are powered by the new turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine that develops 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. For Mexico, units with the ST trim level will only be offered with front-wheel drive while the top-of-the-line Avenir version will come with AWD as standard.

The all-new 2025 Buick Enclave will be available for sale starting the last week of January at the brand’s official dealer network in Mexico, completing the deep update of the brand’s crossover portfolio in the country. Both versions of the 2025 Enclave include a generous list of standard technology and safety equipment, along with the massive 30-inch curved screen. Here is pricing for the model in the Mexican market:

  • 2025 Enclave ST: 1,328,000 pesos (about $65,090 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2025 Enclave Avenir: 1,472,000 pesos ($72,150 USD)

  1. Now, if only it was a hybrid, it would be a winner!

  2. I suspect the release of the 2025 model has something to do with the excess of 2024’s in stock. With a starting price $65K there are lots of other choices out there that fill the need.
Still having a hard time understanding the sales strategy…. do the want to sell a few at a high price or many more at a lower price? The profit is the same. If you sell more units that is potential profit for the dealer in service. Of course, they can up the service prices and still make the same income. I think US auto makers are driving customers to foreign brands.

    1. Foreign brands sell their sedans better than their trucks and SUVs…

I remember reading an article about Toyota potentially taking over GMC/Chevrolet during the 08 recession. If that had happened:

1.The Malibu/Impala would have been retained, and improved with higher QC.
2.Hummer would have gone and Pontiac and Saturn both were expected to be killed.
      3. The Escalade would have been killed (unlikely but possible) in favor of something similar to the LX…The ESV version, Suburban, Yukon XL would however have been purged.
      4. 3500, 2500 series trucks would have been eliminated…leaving only the standard 1500. QC would be better, AFM probably would have gone but at the cost of higher prices, less sales and more loss…compared to rivals.

Read carefully before downvoting then answer. Thanks.

  3. I had a 2020 Cadillac XT6 with the special Lighting Option. That included the corning lights to show the curbs and/or roadway at night. My 2023 Buick Avenir does not have that option even though it has the worst headlights of any vehicle I have owned for years. I would not go with Buick again due to the sub-par headlights (in my opinion) until things change. Hey Buick, does $65,000.00 + not include good headlights considering your buyers are mostly 55 and older?
