Three months after the start of production of Chevy’s refreshed full-size SUVs in Texas, General Motors has just introduced the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban in the Middle East.
The automaker officially unveiled the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban during a special introduction event in Saudi Arabia’s capital city of Riyadh, marking the first time both models have been shown in a Middle Eastern country. As such, the occasion marks the regional debut of the refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban that will arrive in the coming weeks to strengthen its leadership in the region’s large SUV segment.
“The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban have long been two of the region’s most-loved SUVs, with their popularity growing year after year. These iconic models carry a rich legacy and have only been elevated further with an even bolder design,” said CMO of GM Africa and Middle East, Furrukh Jawaid. “Tahoe and Suburban are more than just SUVs, they’re truly a statement for those who strive to go bigger and go bolder. We’re excited to see them make their presence on the roads,” he added.
In particular, the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are coming to the Middle East with a bold, updated design, more powerful engine options and cutting-edge technology, delivering a superior driving experience. The 2025 Tahoe lineup in the region will consist of five trims across LS, LT, Z71, RST and Premier trim levels, while the 2025 Suburban will have its own focus with LS, LT and Premier trims.
Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban will only be available in Southwest Asian countries with gasoline V8s that include the base 5.3L V8 L84 engine with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque for the LS, LT, and Z71 trim levels. Additionally, the Z71, RST, and Premier trim levels offer the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 engine with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Both powerplants are mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
The refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban will begin arriving at the brand’s official dealerships in the coming weeks in the Middle East countries, starting with the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia early next month. Units of both models for the region will be imported from the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, where they are manufactured for all international markets.
