Lakeshore Blue Metallic is a metallic paint color as its name suggests. It can be optioned at no additional charge on the LS, LT, Premier and High Country trim levels, and can be ordered in conjunction with any of the interior colorways offered on those trims. It cannot be chosen for the Z71 or RST trim levels.

Among other changes, the 2025 Chevy Suburban dropped three paint colors from the palette, including Empire Beige Metallic (GJW), Midnight Blue Metallic (GLU) and Silver Sage Metallic (G6N). The SUV also gets rear-end suspension improvements for those models equipped with Magnetic Ride Control and/or Air Ride Control.

For motivation, the 2025 Suburban has three powerplant options. These include the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine developing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, 10 percent and 7.6 percent better respectively than the outgoing 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine provided. Other engines include the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Engine availability has also been updated.

Pricing starts at a base MSRP of $63,495 for the entry-level LS trim with 2WD or $66,495 for 4WD. At the top end, the High Country trim level starts at $81,695 for the rear-wheel configuration and $84,695 for the four-wheel drive model. The destination freight charge of $1,995 is included in these prices. The Suburban’s online configurator is now live.
