Where Is The 2025 Chevy Colorado Configurator?

As GM Authority covered previously, the official configurator tool for the 2025 Chevy Colorado was originally slated to go live on November 27th, 2024. However, that date was later pushed back to December 16th, 2024. The latter date has since come and gone as. well, and yet the 2025 Chevy Colorado configurator tool is still unavailable, leading to confusion and frustration among potential customers.

Interestingly, the configurator tool for the 2025 Colorado’s corporate cousin, the 2025 GMC Canyon, did go live on the latter date of December 16th. For the moment, the exact reason behind the ongoing absence of the 2025 Chevy Colorado configurator tool remains uncertain. Even so, GM Authority estimates that there are 6,609 units of the 2025 Colorado either in stock or in transit to dealers across the U.S.

The 2025 Chevy Colorado trim level cadence kicks off with the 2WD-configurations of the WT trim, starting at $33,495. Meanwhile, the LT trim starts at $37,395, the Trail Boss starts at $41,395, the Z71 starts at $45,395, the ZR2 starts at $51,195, and the ZR2 Bison starts at $62,895. MSRP figures for the latest 2025 Colorado are considerably higher than they were for the 2024 model year, with the WT now $1,350 more expensive, the LT now $2,850 more expensive, the Trail Boss now $2,500 more expensive, the Z71 now $3,600 more expensive, and ZR2 / ZR2 Bison models now $2,800 more expensive.

Nevertheless, Z71, Trail Boss, and ZR2 trims now include additional standard features, while the ZR2 is now equipped exclusively with leather upholstery. Further updates for the 2025 model year includes a few new packages, as well as a trio of new exterior paint options.

Also notable is the deletion of the entry-level turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R gasoline engine, leaving the Turbo High-Output 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine as the exclusive powertrain. Under the skin, the 2025 Chevy Colorado rides on the updated 31XX-2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.

For the last few days, every time I log on to chevrolet.com the page immediately loads to show the Equinox EV. You literally have to scroll up to view the homepage navigation menu.

  4. The 2025 Silverado 1500 builder isn’t live yet either…yet there are ’25 models sitting on the dealer lot near me. There’s a Trail Boss custom with the new Cypress Gray color and I wanted to see if it was available on other trims. :/
