This Special Offer Doesn’t Apply To The 2025 Cadillac Lyriq

The 2025 Cadillac Lyriq drops in as the third model year for the all-electric crossover, introducing a number of important updates to the EV. Among the most important of these updates is deletion of the entry-level Tech trim, as well as improved range-per-charge and fewer overall parts. Notably, customers interested in purchasing a new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq won’t have access to a special offer previously available for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq offered buyers and lessees $750 off the price of a GM Energy PowerShift charger; along with $1,500 off the price of its installation with Qmerit, or two years of unlimited free public charging at EVgo stations.

Now, however, this special offer is no longer available for the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq. To note, this special offer expires on January 2nd, 2025.

Even so, interested customers can still spec the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq using the official configurator tool at Cadillac’s website. With the deletion of the Tech trim level, the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq trim level hierarchy now starts with the Luxury 1, priced at $59,990. The next trim up is the Sport 1 trim, starting at $61,090; followed by the Luxury 2 trim, starting at $64,990; the Sport 2 trim, starting at $65,490; the Luxury 3 trim, starting at $68,390; with the Sport 3 trim at the top of the range, starting at $68,890. Each trim level is standard with rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is optional.

Other notable updates include higher horsepower ratings. Compared to the previous 2024 model year, the horsepower ratings for the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq have increased between 15 and 25 horsepower, depending on the configuration. Single-motor Lyriq RWD configurations are now rated at 365 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, as compared to 340 horsepower for the 2024 model year, while dual-motor AWD models are up to 515 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.

Range-per-charge has increased as well, with the maximum range estimate boosted from 314 miles for the 2024 model, now rated at a maximum of 326 miles for the 2025 model year.

All Cadillac Lyriq variants ride on the GM BEV3 platform, while production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

  • If anyone can afford a new lyric, same can afford to purchase a charger!
Above all, GM can afford to give a new charger plus new tires and 10 year warranty on battery for the price GM asking for it!
    Just my opinion!
