The 2025 Chevy Trailblazer follows the refreshed 2024 model year with a few important updates and changes, including a new E85-compatible flex-fuel engine. As was the case previously, buyers can spec the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer in a variety of different exterior colors. That said, time is running out when it comes to ordering the 2025 Trailblazer in two of these paint options.
As it turns out, the availability of two specific 2025 Chevy Trailblazer paint options, namely Nitro Yellow Metallic (paint code GHS) and Crimson Metallic (paint code GFM), will soon come to an end. Buyers have until the week of February 24th, 2025, to order these colors before they are discontinued for the 2025 model year.
Nitro Yellow Metallic, a bright, extra-cost option priced at $395, is currently available exclusively for the RS and Activ trims. On RS, Nitro Yellow Metallic can be paired with a Mosaic Black Metallic roof for a two-tone aesthetic. On the Activ trim, Nitro Yellow Metallic can pair with a Summit White roof.
Meanwhile, Crimson Metallic is a no-cost option currently offered for LS, LT, and RS trims. Crimson Metallic is unavailable for the Activ trim. The RS also allows for a Crimson Metallic roof option, which can be combined with Mosaic Black Metallic or Sterling Gray Metallic body colors. However, this unique roof color configuration is also expected to disappear after February of 2025.
It’s uncertain if these paint options will return for the 2026 model year, which means fans of these colors will need to act soon.
Under the hood, the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer is powered by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine as standard, which drops in as a flex-fuel capable replacement for the outgoing turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine. Customers seeking additional power can opt for the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine. The Trailblazer rides on the GM VSS-F platform, while vehicle production takes place at GM’s Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

Well, some form of red is a must-have, so a different hue is certain to come. The yellow though, ugh, what a terribly sour lemon flavor. Hopefully it will be replaced with the new orange color we’ve been reading about (but not yet seen) for the 2025 Colorado.
Spot on. That yellow was hideous. I’ve only seen a Trax in it and, barf bag time. The red wasn’t so bad, but a more maroon-ish one would do better. And, keep the Cacti, but add a darker green, you dummies.
