Changes to the available 2025 Buick Envista colors along with two newly standard tech items and the introduction of a new E85-compatible engine set apart the second model year of the latest Tri-Shield crossover to be introduced to the U.S. market. Customers should note that this is the final week in which the 2025 Buick Envista will be available to order in Cinnabar Metallic paint (color code GFM).
It’s unclear if Cinnabar Metallic will be available to order for the 2026 model-year Envista, but we think it’s unlikely. It could be dropped or replaced by an entirely new paint color. This paint color will be built during the week of February 24th, 2025. Of note, the same paint option is being built out in the same week for the 2025 Buick Encore GX.
For now, at least, the 2025 Buick Envista offers Cinnabar Metallic paint in all trim levels. It can also be combined with any interior colorway. Cinnabar Metallic costs $495 extra on the Preferred and Sport Touring trims, but it’s a no-charge color on the top Avenir trim.
Cinnabar Metallic paint was introduced to the Buick Envista in its debut model year of 2024 as one of two red paint options; the other was Sunrise Red Metallic (GMF). If Cinnabar Metallic is discontinued for 2026, we expect it to be replaced by a new red hue.
The 2025 Envista has also lost a wheel option, with the 18-inch two-toned machined aluminum wheels (RPO code PXJ) dropped from the lineup for the model year. Since these 18-inch rollers are also one of the elements comprising the Experience Buick Package (RPO code PCJ), this optional package is also unavailable for the 2025 model year.
Motivation is supplied to the Envista by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP gasoline engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, which is the sole powerplant choice for all trims. The GM six-speed automatic transmission provides cog swaps, while FWD is the only available configuration.
The 2025 Buick Envista is underpinned by the GM VSS-F platform, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
Comments
That’s a really nice color and makes the Envista look really sharp. A shame Buick is running out of it already.
Getting rid of another “red” .
To be replaced by Gray No. 317
aka “Oregon Mid Winter Clinically-Depressed ‘I can’t do this anymore’ Gunpowder Charcoal Metallic”.
