The 2025 GMC Sierra debuts the fourth-generation pickup’s seventh model year, bringing with it a few minor updates and changes. Per usual, customers have a variety of options at their disposal to upgrade the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 as they see fit.
Nine trim level options are on the table, including the entry-level Pro, followed by the SLE, Elevation, and SLT. After that are the off-road-ready AT4, AT4X, and AT4X AEV Edition, as well as the luxurious Denali and Denali Ultimate. Although the AT4X AEV Edition has the highest starting price ($89,790), the Denali Ultimate trim is the most expensive when fully loaded.
Let’s take a closer look at the pricing of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 and see how high the price tag can go when fully loaded.

It starts with the aforementioned Denali Ultimate trim, which starts at $86,195, including the $1,995 destination charge. Although the Denali Ultimate is already pretty loaded at its base level, there are still a few factory options that can pump up the price tag. The priciest is six-piston Brembo front brakes with color-matched rear calipers (RPO 5JL) for $3,495. Another sporty option is the performance air intake system (K53) for $850. Of course, there’s also premium paint, the most expensive of which is White Frost Tricoat (G1W) for $1,095.
The GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate’s engine options are limited to the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine or the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. The V8 is the pricier of the two. The Denali Ultimate also comes exclusively in the crew cab/short box configuration with four-wheel drive.
As is often the case with pickup trucks, the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 has many dealer-installed LPO options available. Some of the more notable ones include the Utility Wall Package (LPO PCO) for $1,495, a RealTruck Advantage hard folding bed cover (VOZ) for $1,250, body-color wheel arch moldings (SF6) for $750, and the Cargo Convenience Package (PDL) for $575.
Adding up all of the options in the table above brings the grand total to $96,459. Fully loaded half-ton pickups keep inching closer to the $100,000 mark, but even GM’s most luxurious pickup truck in this class still comes in just barely under six-digit pricing territory.
Comments
$100K (even $86K) for a non-premium light duty pickup is armaggedon-ish absurd.
If people are willing to pay it, they’re more than willing to charge that much.
while I agree with your opinion, this is the market where supply and demand find its equilibrium. Money also being printed by Fed and you will soon see 2035 GMC Sierra Ultimate Max Pro gets over $120k.
2035?
Folks, it doesn’t matter if this truck was $200,000 people would buy it. Period.
