Along with revised styling and an overhauled cabin, the 2025 GMC Yukon gets a number of new and updated features. These include two new trim levels, one of which, the Elevation trim, replaces the SLE and SLT as the entry-level model. Also new for 2025 is the AT4 Ultimate, a premium variant of the off-road ready AT4 sub-brand Yukon with additional equipment and unique aesthetic details.
The 2025 Yukon omits the family-friendly 40/20/40 split front bench seat (RPO code AZ3) that raised seating capacity to nine, with the 2025 model offering only bucket seat and a center console. However, it gets several new appearance packages, with a total of six on offer. An assortment of new towing technology is also added to the model to improve trailering safety and effectiveness.
Pricing for the entry-level Elevation trim, as uncovered by GM Authority, starts at $68,895 for the RWD configuration or $71,895 for 4WD. The most expensive model remains the Denali Ultimate despite the debut of the AT4 Ultimate, with a base MSRP of $103,295 for an SUV with the only drivetrain of the trim, four-wheel drive. The online configurator for the model is currently live.
Powerplant availability for the 2025 GMC Yukon is updated, with the three engines including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine developing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the 6.2L V8 L87 rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax, providing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
