After celebrating the 1.4 million sales mark for the electric minicar, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) has just officially introduced the all-new Wuling MINI EV four-door in China.
General Motors’ second joint venture in China is introducing the all-new Wuling MINI EV four-door to the Chinese market, the first second-generation variant of Wuling’s successful all-electric vehicle that revolutionized the EV category in the Chinese market. The automaker revealed more details and official images of the all-new MINI EV four-door, which will soon be available to order.
The all-new four-door Wuling MINI EV notably becomes the newest member of the best-selling all-electric vehicle family in China. At the same time, the all-new MINI EV represents the first four-door, four-seat model in its segment in the Asian country, inheriting the distinguished appearance, ease of driving, parking convenience and cost-effectiveness of the first-generation model.
With a body length of 128.2 inches, width of 59.4 inches and height of 62.1 inches on a wheelbase of 86.2 inches, the all-new Wuling MINI EV four-door offers a more spacious interior and an improved experience for rear-seat occupants compared to the initial three-door 2+2 seating configuration. With this, the MINI EV sets the standard with the first four-seat variant in the A00 new energy vehicle (NEV) category.
In addition to showing new exterior images of the vehicle, SMGW revealed the interior of the second-generation Wuling MINI EV, which also adopts a new evolution of the design language with more organic and rounded shapes. The dashboard has an even more minimalist and optimized layout to maximize cabin space, while slightly raised elements and the new electric handbrake clear up the center console.
The all-new Wuling MINI EV four-door will be officially launched in the coming weeks in China, the home country and only market worldwide where Wuling’s popular electric vehicle is sold. The company announced that the MINI EV four-door will initially be offered in one of three body colors including Sweet Coffee, Bubble Green and Puffy Blue. Full details on equipment and powertrain will be revealed during the launch.

Best-selling EV family in China, and now families of 10 or more can join in on the fun. Sell it in India, GM, too.
Chinese cars (with exception of MG) are banned in India due to the border dispute they are having.
Wasn't this car on HR Pufnstuf?
No, but I think I had one stuck to my shoe as I was stepping on my running boards to get into my SUV.
Beautiful colors... it is the maximum I can say. However probably those wheels do not support me, we try to keep with our 2013 Dacia Sandero for more 20 years.
Wonder how Bill Mitchell would’ve handled an assignment like this? The small cars designed under his leadership were all good looking including the second generation Corvair and the Vega as well as the XP 883, a tiny plug-in hybrid concept from 1969. Small cars don’t have to be cartoonish looking.
This thing looks much too dangerous to ride in. One crash and it could be your last.
