Chevrolet Colombia sales decreased three percent to 1,611 units in October 2024. The figures place Chevrolet as the fourth country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Toyota, Renault and Kia.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Chevrolet Blazer sales decreased 26.32 percent to 14 units
- Chevrolet Bolt EUV sales increased 1200 percent to 13 units
- Chevrolet Camaro sales were flat at 0 units
- Chevrolet Captiva sales increased 19.51 percent to 98 units
- Chevrolet Colorado sales increased 44.9 percent to 71 units
- Chevrolet Commercial Truck sales decreased 34.59 percent to 208 units
- Commercial Truck sales include sales of the Chevy N-Series lineup (NKR, NPR, NQR and NPS) and Chevy F-Series lineup (FRR, FTR and FVR)
- Chevrolet Equinox sales increased 108 percent to 52 units
- Chevrolet Montana sales increased 18 percent to 59 units
- Chevrolet N400 sales decreased 28.57 percent to 60 units
- Chevrolet NHR sales increased 159.62 percent to 135 units
- Chevrolet Onix sales decreased 17.52 percent to 513 units
- Chevrolet Silverado sales decreased 40.74 percent to 16 units
- Chevrolet Tahoe sales decreased 35.29 percent to 11 units
- Chevrolet Tracker sales increased 27.54 percent to 352 units
- Chevrolet Trailblazer sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
- Chevrolet Traverse sales decreased 50 percent to 4 units
During the first 10 months of the 2024 calendar year, Chevrolet Colombia sales decreased 19 percent to 15,517 units.

The GM Authority Take
The slight decline in Chevrolet Colombia sales in October further deepens the brand’s negative performance in the South American country, where it has suffered a systemic drop in sales volume that continues to distance it from the sales leadership it has enjoyed in the local market for decades. Specifically, Chevy’s sales performance in October represents the sixth consecutive monthly decline for the brand in Colombia, placing it as the fourth best-selling automobile brand locally.
Most models offered by Chevrolet in Colombia were in the red during October. Most affected were the best-selling Chevy Onix and the Isuzu-derived line of commercial trucks, which together sapped 219 units from brand’s bottom line year on a year-over-year basis. Even so, the Onix still remained Chevrolet’s best-seller.
Meanwhile, some models did manage to finish the month in the green. In contrast to its poor performance of prior months, the Chevy Tracker saw a healthy double-digit increase in October, becoming the brand’s second best-selling model, surpassing the Isuzu truck line. It’s also worth noting that the NHR truck posted the most significant increase in volume, adding more than 80 deliveries year-over-year.
