The GM Authority Take

After suffering four consecutive months in the red, Chevrolet Brazil sales broke the negative streak by posting double-digit growth during November. With this result, Chevrolet managed to stabilize its sales performance in South America’s largest market with a solid increase of nearly 3,000 units year-over-year, representing a significant volume improvement.

The significant gain in November was driven by positive figures from most Chevy nameplates, including five nameplates like the best-selling Chevy Onix. The popular subcompact car range managed to turn around its results by posting a healthy increase during the month, ranking as the second best-selling vehicle in the country behind only the Hyundai HB20, which posted a surprising total of 19,005 sales.

But the model that most influenced the brand’s overall increase was the Chevy S10, which doubled its year-over-year result with a dramatic triple-digit increase that added an additional 1,374 units to the bottom line. The midsize pickup achieved this growth rate due to an improvement in available inventory compared to the same month in 2023. Additionally, the Chevy Spin and Chevy Tracker also contributed to the brand’s success, positioning themselves as the best-selling models in their respective segments.
