The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD introduces a selection of significant updates over the refreshed 2024 model year, including the new Silverado HD Trail Boss, expanded feature availability, and new paint options. Naturally, customers will also have a wealth of appearance packages to choose from to customize the look of their new heavy-duty pickup. Now, GM Authority is providing a thorough breakdown of all the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD appearance packages.
Customers have nine appearance packages to choose from, ranging from subtle, to extensive. Some of the packages listed here are not purely for aesthetics (such as the Bison Edition or Alaskan Snow Plow Special Edition), but because they also include some styling changes, we opted to include them in this breakdown.
Let’s start with the Dark Essentials Package, which is available across all trims (except Custom) for $550, adding an understated look via blacked-out Silverado nameplates, badges, and bowtie emblems, along with black tailgate CHEVROLET lettering.
There’s also the Alaskan Snow Plow Special Edition, which is designed primarily for utility, but adds a touch of style as well. This package costs $2,300 for the Work Truck trim and $2,950 for the LT trim, and includes the Snow Plow Prep/Camper Package, Chevytec spray-on bedliner, roof marker lamps, and Alaskan decals. The package also adds 18-inch or 20-inch high-gloss black wheels depending on the trim.
For those venturing off the beaten path, the ZR2 Bison Edition is one of the more attractive options. Priced at $9,135, this package is available exclusively for the ZR2 trim and includes AEV front and rear bumpers, stamped steel skid plates, and 18-inch AEV wheels. Multi-Flex tailgate functionality and AEV-branded front floor liners enhance overall utility and style, cementing this package as the ultimate choice for hardcore adventurers.
