The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 marks the seventh model year for the fourth-generation pickup, once again offering customers a long list of options to customize their rig as they see fit. Among these options are 10 separate appearance packages, from simple enhancements, to more extensive upgrades. Now, we’re taking a closer look at all of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 appearance packages.
One of the simplest options available is the Chrome Package (RPO code PDV), priced at $350. This package adds chrome recovery hooks and a polished exhaust tip, providing a subtle but refined upgrade to the Silverado’s design. The Chrome Package is available on the WT and LT trims,.
For a sportier look, the Dark Essentials Package (RPO code PDB) includes black Silverado nameplates, trim badges, and tailgate CHEVROLET lettering. Priced between $595 and $695 (depending on the trim), this package pairs particularly well with brighter exterior colors.
For those that want to take it a step further, the Midnight Edition (RPO code WJP) includes black badging, recovery hooks, and trim-specific accents. Certain trims, like the High Country, benefit from additional features, including a black grille and lower skid plates. Prices for this package range from $955 to $2,140, depending on the trim.
At the top of the package cadence is the ZR2 Bison Edition (RPO code ULV), priced at $8,440 (currently discounted to $5,940). This off-road-focused package, developed in collaboration with AEV, adds rugged styling elements like AEV bumpers, skid plates, rocker protection, and unique 18-inch AEV wheels. While it primarily enhances the Silverado ZR2’s off-road capabilities, its bold aesthetics make a significant visual impact as well.

I’ve owned 1500’s and 2500’s since the 1990 All have been blue/grey. I was going to replace my 2020 1500 and to my surprise butt ugly colors!!! What’s the deal aside from red, black, and white, It’s gray, gray or gray? Big news!! new color Cypress Gray It’s worse than what was already available. It’s kind of black? No Kind of green, No, it’s butt ugly!! No new 1500 for me until GM gets out of the gray slump!
Since 2020 the Chevy Silverado has been available in many different colors besides light, medium, and dark gray. So, with all due respect and to satisfy my curiosity, what color availability would it take for you to buy a new Silverado?
Please bring back the lightest gray that doesn’t show dirt. We live in northeast Ohio and with all the crappy weather this one is the BEST!!! I’m in the market for a new Silverado and I think these new colors are horrendous 😬
Hope you like black interiors.
GM Killed the best color, Glacier Metallic Blue. They used it in all their ads, than gave it the boot. Corporate stupidity.
Midnight blue interior in my 2022 Silverado High Country 👍🏻
Paying big bucks to downgrade the looks with loads of cheap black paint and plastic. Only in the malaise era of the 2020’s does this make any kind of sense! In the 80’s and 90’s when you saw a car or truck with black mirrors, door handles, grilles, side trim and rockers it was the bare bones cheap model. Somehow in today’s twisted everything is backwards society it is considered higher end. Bizzare! The car companies love it because they are making money by the bucket load charging extra for cheap black paint and plastic bits
