About Cadillac XT4
The 2025 Cadillac XT4 arrives with more standard safety features than the refreshed 2024 model, including the Active Safety Package, offered as standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. However, it will drop two safety features: Automatic Speed Limit Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Also, the 2025 XT4 drops the Luxury trim level, with the Premium Luxury becoming the entry-level trim.
Here are the 2025 XT5 paint colors, the interior colorways, and available wheels.
Under the hood, the 2025 XT4 carries over the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission for both front-wheel- and all-wheel-drive configurations, with the latter featuring GM’s Intelligent Dual-Clutch AWD system.
The 2025 XT4 can tow up to 3,500 pounds when equipped with the Trailering Package.
Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac XT4 shows it actually down $700 for the Premium Luxury trim compared to the 2024 model year and down $400 for Sport, with the $1,195 destination freight charge remaining unchanged. Here is pricing with options and packages.
Production of the 2025 XT4 was to be initially paused for much of the 2025 calendar year as the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas City gets retooled for the next generation of the Chevy Bolt EV, expected to arrive for the 2026 model year. Now, however, the XT4 is slated to end in January 2025, which means the refresh of the small luxury crossover will have lasted just two years before the nameplate is sunsetted.
