2025 GMC Terrain Configurator Live

The 2025 GMC Terrain got its big debut in August of 2024, dropping cover on the crossover’s all-new third generation. Among the highlights is new styling, an overhauled cabin, new tech features, updated safety features, and revisions to the trim level lineup. Now, interested customers can spec the 2025 GMC Terrain as they see fit using the official online configurator tool at GMC’s website.

For the moment, the 2025 GMC Terrain is only available to spec in the new Elevation trim, which now serves the entry-level trim of the lineup, replacing the SLE and SLT trims offered prior to the 2025 model year overhaul. Pricing starts at $31,395 for models equipped with front-wheel drive, while models equipped with all-wheel drive start at $33,395. Both prices listed include a destination freight charge, which is set at $1,395.

Pricing for the 2025 GMC Terrain Elevation FWD is higher than that of the preceding entry-level 2024 GMC Terrain SLE FWD, with the 2024-model-year vehicle starting at $30,095.

Looking ahead, the third-generation GMC Terrain will offer an updated AT4 and Denali trim in conjunction with the launch of the 2026 model year.

In terms of features, the 2025 GMC Terrain Elevation is equipped as standard with the Driver Convenience Package, which includes things like Remote Start, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. The infotainment spec includes a 15-inch diagonal touchscreen with available Google built-in, voice recognition, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto.

The third-gen Terrain also features new exterior styling, and now presents a more rugged, truck-like appearance that mirrors styling updates seen elsewhere in the GMC lineup. The Elevation trim is equipped with 17-inch Grazen metallic machined-face wheels, LED headlamps with automatic on/off and welcome animation, LED taillights, and high gloss black mirror caps.

Under the hood, the 2025 GMC Terrain is motivated by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is rated at 175 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque when equipped with front-wheel drive, and 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque when equipped with all-wheel drive. Under the skin, you’ll find the GM D2 platform, while production takes place at the GM San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico.

  • I'm really thinking that all 2025 GMC Terrain production should be moved to General Motors Wentzville St. Louis KSTL manufacturing plant.

    Please General Motors.

  • OK thanks for posting. I went over there, and the build & price is very buggy, like a Blazer EV. It pre-loaded for all sorts of things I didn't spec, and couldn't uncheck. Basically I could only choose the color. Hopefully things will be fixed soon.

  • Was it taken down? I tried accessing the build configurator and it says the requested page cannot be found.

  • I can't start from zero when I go in, "Convenience Package II" is already pre-selected and will not go away, even if I uncheck the 19 inch wheels and check the 17 inchers, it ignores my input. Even if I uncheck "Convenience Package II" in "packages" it immediately adds it back in. I can add the Black Package and take it back out, and change the exterior color, but I can't pick the light interior. Hopefully I am not the only bozo who is having issues with the site over there.

    Very nice looking vehicle, BTW.

  • To get a friggin power seat, which should be standard, you have to get the Convenience Package II, which is OK, but THAT requires the Premium package, which is NOT OK.

    • She's so obsessed with EVs and heated steering wheels, that I'm surprised the heated wheel isn't standard and tires optional.

  • It is 100% insanity that to get a stinking power driver's seat I have to also pay 2700 bucks to get a bunch of other crap I don't want including vinyl seats, 19" wheels and roof mounted side rails, all of which are useless to me. IMO a power driver's seat should be std equipment on all Terrains since this is supposed to be a more deluxe higher grade vehicle! Also the blue exterior option should be changed to theo ne used on the Equinox and where is the option for a pano roof? If the Equinox offers it on a very basic LT why is it not being offered on a more expensive Terrain?

This leads to the question why bother choosing this over the less expensive Chevy when they now share the exact same drivetrains with one weak engine, are equipped about the same for std equipments, have all black interiors as std and even share much of the exterior styling cues which was clearly not the case before?
