There’s a new addition to the long list of customization options for the 2025 Corvette. The Carbon Flash with Blue accent Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (RPO DPB) is optional on all three Chevy Corvette variants (Stingray, Z06, E-Ray).
Although we haven’t seen it yet, we can pretty safely estimate what it will look like. There are already four other Carbon Flash Full Length Dual Racing Stripes options for the C8 with accents in Yellow, Orange, Red, and Silver. Imagine that, but with blue accents. The stripes are the traditional dark gray Carbon Flash color reminiscent of carbon fiber. As the name of the option package implies, they’re traditional rally stripes that span from the crossed flag emblem on the nose all the way to the rear spoiler.
We can also make a pretty good guess of what this option package will cost: $1,195. That’s the cost of every other Carbon Flash Full Length Dual Racing Stripes package, regardless of the color of the accents. The new stripe option with the blue accents can’t be combined with Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV), Rapid Blue (GMO), or Hysteria Purple Metallic (GXL). This is in line with the other stripe packages with accents that can’t be matched to the same paint color. For example, orange accents can’t be combined with Sebring Orange (G26) paint, and red accents can’t be combined with Torch Red (GKZ) or Red Mist (GPH) paint.
Here’s a list of similar stripe packages available for the 2025 Corvette:
- Carbon Flash with Yellow accent Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DPC)
- Carbon Flash with Orange accent Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DPG)
- Carbon Flash with Red accent Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DPL)
- Carbon Flash with Silver accent Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DPT)
- Carbon Flash Metallic Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTH)
- Edge Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DUW)
- Electric Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTB)
- Edge Orange Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DSY)
- Edge Red Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DSZ)
- Sterling Silver Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DUB)
- Competition Yellow Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DT0)
In other aesthetic news for the 2025 Corvette, the sports car has three new paint colors this year. They include the aforementioned Hysteria Purple, Competition Yellow (GBK), which dates back to the C4, and Sebring Orange, a C7 hue from an era when several Corvette paint options had racing-themed names.

Why would GM care if you bought a car with orange strips on a purple car etc. It’s your car.
