The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, meanwhile, cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the new-for-2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine is rated at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, which replaces the LM2 diesel engine offered from the 2021 thru the 2024 model years.

The GM T1 platform continues to underpin the 2025 Tahoe, while production started several months ago at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

    1. Post a couple picture of the inside and out as it’s the same combo I am wanting but have to wait until march due to it being a baby duramax

      1. I will. I can tell you that the gray is essentially white. We expected that and like it.

  2. Buyers beware! The new Lakeshore Blue Metallic colour is considerably lighter than what it appears in the photographs. I purchased a 2024 Silverado with the Lakeshore Blue colour and was disappointed that the colour was not as dark as it appeared on the build your own online selection. Shame on GM for at least not having actual colour samples, for their dealers, as they did in the past for their exterior colours. If you’re looking for a Navy tone, this new colour is not the one.
