As a reminder, the CT5-V is powered by the turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY, while the CT5-V Blackwing ups the ante with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4, with the latter delivering over 668 horsepower, making it Cadillac’s most powerful internal combustion production sedan to date. Both models are built on GM’s Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant in Michigan.

  1. I actually have a question. Can you get the quilted seats in the CT5-V

  2. I’m curious what the cause for all the delays on this car is. The refresh itself was originally for 2024. Got pushed back to 2025. The 2025 model was supposed to be available summer 2024 and still isn’t on sale. The configurator just now goes live with days remaining in the year.

    1. Configuration on gm.com and gm.ca still show 2024 no 2025 options.

There are still over 250 BWs 2024 for sale in US so maybe cause they waiting on them to sell?

  3. Who cares? They are still making them. Just see the positives.

  4. Making Super Cruise standard is going to price a lot of people out of the CT5.
    A comparable CT4V to a comparable optioned CT5V for 2025 is $10,000 difference.
Even if the $ isn’t a big deal, some don’t like the idea of paying for a option they
    don’t want.
