For many buyers, selecting the right exterior paint color is an important part of vehicle personalization. However, automakers don’t always offer a wide range of options. The 2025 Cadillac CT4 bucks this trend, standing out with a plethora of paint colors for customers to pick through. In fact, the 2025 CT4 (along with its larger sibling, the CT5) offers buyers the most diverse selection of paint colors in the entirety of GM’s modern lineup.
The 2025 Cadillac CT4 is available in three trims (Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport), each offering a total of nine exterior color options. Among these, Summit White (GAZ) and Black Raven (paint code GBA) are the only no-cost options. However, for those willing to pay a premium, the palette expands to include striking shades like Deep Space Metallic (GAI), Wave Metallic (GKK), Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF), and Typhoon Metallic (GBW).
Stepping up to the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing brings even more exciting hues. Buyers can select from vibrant choices such as Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP), Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV), and Drift Metallic (GAE). The CT4-V Blackwing also offers Magnus Metal Frost (GBL), an exclusive option available via the Petit Pataud Special Edition (RPO code ZLZ), giving enthusiasts a unique way to stand out.
In total, the 2025 CT4-V offers nine paint options, while the CT4-V Blackwing ups the ante with 10, ensuring a color for every taste. Indeed, in a world dominated by grayscale, the option for reds, greens blues, yellow, and even purple is quite noteworthy, especially on a four-door sedan.

As a reminder, all Cadillac CT4 variants ride on the GM Alpha 2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

“For many buyers, selecting the right exterior paint color is an important part of vehicle personalization”. Somebody needs to tell that to the color blind psychopath at GM picking these colors. Not one of those shades belongs on a Cadillac and I feel bad for anyone who buys drift metallic or cyber yellow (ffs) and then hopes to resell their car one day.
Maybe Cadillac could offer the CT4/5 in primer at a discount so buyers can have their car painted in a color they’d actually want to own?
Oh boy, you’re not going to believe this but…..yellow has the highest resale value of any color. There are not a lot of yellow cars out there. So, someone will pay a premium for a yellow car because they want something different other than black, white and silver cars which are a dime a dozen.
GM, in their infinite wisdom, foolishly dropped the 2024 Midnight Steel Metallic ( gorgeous blue) and replaced it in 2025 with Deep Space Metallic (gray?? gray blue?? who knows, my dealer won’t have one to show me what it really looks like) > I would have ordered a 2025 if I could just get the color I wanted! Deep Space could look ok, but I would not know until it showed up at my dealer in 4 or 5 months? >>> Since I can’t get the color I want, I guess I won’t have to worry about taking the gamble on the crappy GM automatic transmissions… That VW Jetta Autobahn with a manual tran is looking better every day.
