General Motors’ main joint venture in China has launched the updated 2025 Cadillac XT6 in the domestic market, where it has received minor configuration and equipment upgrades to remain a relevant option in the family-friendly luxury crossover category. In fact, the automaker claims that the 2025 XT6 is now the best value in its class in the Chinese market.

“The 2025 Cadillac XT6 has ventilated and heated seats in both the first and second rows, as well as an improved multimedia system with state-of-the-art connectivity,” said Cadillac China. “Additionally, it offers new exterior selections, including a black badge option, as well as second-row executive seats with six-way adjustable headrests, two-section armrests, and electric adjustment with the massage function,” the brand added.

Specifically, the updated 2025 Cadillac XT6 lineup in China is comprised of Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum trim levels, the latter two featuring a blacked-out exterior trim package dubbed Black Label. All come in a three-row, six-seat 2+2+2 configuration, including class-exclusive independent second-row executive seats with power adjustments, massage, and heating.

In addition, the 2025 Cadillac XT6 also received technological upgrades by adopting a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a larger infotainment touchscreen, increasing from 8 to 10 inches diagonally. The package is completed with a color head-up display, 22 active safety features, a 360-degree camera system, night vision system and a 14-speaker Bose Performance sound system.

The updated 2025 Cadillac XT6 is now available for sale at the luxury brand’s official dealer network in China, retaining the same powertrain system from the outgoing model year consisting of GM’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine and nine-speed automatic transmission. Units of the 2025 XT6 for the Chinese market are manufactured exclusively at the SAIC-GM Cadillac Jinqiao plant in Shanghai. Pricing is as follows:

  • 2025 XT6 Luxury: 349,900 yuan (about $48,290 USD at current exchange rates)
  • 2025 XT6 Premium Luxury: 369,900 yuan ($51,050 USD)
  • 2025 XT6 Platinum: 409,900 yuan ($56,570 USD)
