You may have heard that there’s a fight tonight. In fact, it’s not just one fight, but a series of them, culminating in the heavyweight boxing mega-event of Jake “El Gallo” Paul and the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson. The festivities will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and will stream live globally exclusively on Netflix. The stadium just happens to be a stone’s throw from the GM Arlington Assembly plant, home of GM full-size SUVs.
More specifically, GM’s Arlington Assembly Plant is roughly two and a half miles from the AT&T Stadium. Just exit the plant onto Abram Street, drive 1.8 miles east and hang a right onto S. Collins Street. In about half a mile, you’ll have arrived at the huge 80,000-seat venue.

The General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant produces the Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, as well as the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV. The vehicles are America’s best-selling full-size SUVs by a substantial margin, with Ford Motor Company’s Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator being a distant second.

During the first nine months of the 2024 calendar year, the GM SUVs accounted for a whopping 189,077 combined sales, to 69,158 deliveries of the Expedition and Navigator.
As for the fight, Paul (10-1, 6 KOs) will take on Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) in a fight streamed globally exclusively on Netflix on Friday, November 15th, 2024. The main event will be preceded by several other matchups. Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) will defend her undisputed title over 10, two-minute rounds against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs). The stream starts at 8pm ET / 5pm, but Tyson and Paul will face off later, likely between 10:00 and 10:30 PM.
