GM unveiled the all-new 2026 Cadillac Vistiq in November, showing off the luxury marque’s latest battery-powered three-row crossover. Although the new Vistiq is expected to hit the market next spring, it looks as though The General is already hard at work developing a mid-cycle update. Now, we’re getting our first glimpse at the refreshed Cadillac Vistiq thanks to the following video.
The video was captured at the GM Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, where The Wall Street Journal recently took a tour to check out the facility’s latest updates. Interestingly, the video captures numerous Cadillac design projects underway in the background, with teams of designers swarming over various models and shaping clay body panels.
Among them is what appears to be a refreshed Cadillac Vistiq. In the video, we see the refreshed Vistiq with a new front-end design that appears to take inspiration from the Cadillac Opulent Velocity concept, including angular styling lines for the lower fascia and tall, vertical elements in the corners of the fascia. Under the hood line, we see thin horizontal elements, which are almost certainly supposed to be lights.
Interestingly, the refreshed design is seen parked alongside the current production Vistiq, and in front of what seems to be a refreshed Cadillac Lyriq and a Cadillac CT5 or CT5 EV.
Although the new design is obviously still taking shape, it’s interesting to see GM hard at work with a refresh for a model that debuted just a few weeks ago. As GM Authority covered previously, the Cadillac design studio is very busy, and is in fact the automaker’s busiest design studio at the moment. Now we can see why. In the video, we also see what appears to be an updated Cadillac Lyriq.

As a reminder, the all-new Cadillac Vistiq design incorporates a Black Crystal Shield grille as well as signature D-pillar markings with horizontal styling lines. The Vistiq rides on 21-inch wheels as standard, while a set of 22-inch wheels and 23-inch wheels are also offered. Inside the cabin, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq incorporates a 33-inch diagonal high-resolution LED display on top of the dash.
Motivation is sourced from standard dual-motor drive system rated at 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, with a 102 kWh battery providing the electrons. The GM BEV3 platform provides the underpinnings, while production will ramp up at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee next year.

I wish they would use some of that design language to update the current CT6.
It’s called a STATION WAGON!
By golly, it is a station wagon. Owned several in my younger years. RD.
I love the looks of this thing!!… such a good balance of design.
Now if there were just a few to choose from at the dealership in neutral, natural colors with an elegant light colored interior…
Can someone tell me what is the difference between Vistiq and Escalade IQ? They look the same to me and they both are three-row SUV….
Vistiq is like a Traverse size (more like Explorer, I think).
The Escalade IQ similar in size as the current gen.
