The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban usher in a mid-cycle refresh, with both full-size SUV nameplates debuting a range of updates to enhance the driving experience. That includes the availability of GM Super Cruise, the automaker’s semi-autonomous driver assistance system, which allows for hands-free operation on compatible highways, making long journeys more comfortable. Now, GM Authority has learned exactly when the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban will be available to order with Super Cruise.
According to GM Authority sources, orders for new 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban units equipped with Super Cruise will kick off on February 17th, 2025. While it was previously known that Super Cruise would be available to order for both SUVs in February, GM Authority has now learned the precise date that the feature will be available.
Super Cruise will be available in multiple trims, including LT, RST, Premier, and High Country. However, pricing and the availability for specific configurations can vary. For LT and RST trims, Super Cruise will be available via the Advanced Technology Package (RPO code PDN), priced at $4,480 on LT and $4,130 on RST. For Premier and High Country trims, Super Cruise will be a standalone option (RPO code UKL), priced at $2,855. However, Premier and High Country trims will still require additional packages to unlock the option for Super Cruise, including the Technology and Entertainment Package (RPO code PDG), the Max Trailering Package (RPO code NHT), and the Enhanced Trailer View package (RPO code ZM1). For High Country trims, buyers must also select 4WD, the Sun and Tow Package (RPO code PCU), or the High Country Deluxe Package (RPO code PDM).
The Super Cruise system is now available across multiple GM models, and by the end of the year, GM estimates 380,000 vehicles will be equipped with the system. GM first launched Super Cruise with the now-discontinued first-gen Cadillac CT6 sedan.
The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban are offered with three engine options – the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax. Both SUVs are underpinned by the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Great content. Curios if/why super cruise is or is not available with the duramax in a suburban. It is for Denali ultimate but not looking like it is for Chevy line up?
Is it true that all trims of 2025 Chevy Tahoe must get a sunroof? I hope that is not a true thing. I’ve been a Chevy guy for over 50 years and also a Chevy Truck legend member!
It looks like Super Cruise is not available with the diesel engine.
I wonder why it’s not offered on diesel when gmc offers it
This is in line with what I was told last Friday when I ordered my Tahoe High Country. I can’t wait to get it…. Does Chevrolet ever change these dates? Hoping they make it available earlier than this!
