Debuting several significant updates and changes compared to the vehicle’s first model year, the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV features an expanded trim level lineup and more exterior paint colors. The number of available Chevy Silverado EV interior colorways has also increased. Here is GM Authority‘s detailed guide to these choices.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado EV interior colorways have increased from the two offered for the 2024 Silverado EV to four. Jet Black is still the main choice, though Sky Cool Gray has put in an appearance for one of the options as well. One colorway is offered on each of the WT and LT trims, while the RST trim level gets two choices.
All of the Chevy Silverado EV interior colorways are combined with seating that has the same upholstery material, Evotex. The latter is a synthetic leather brand used by GM, offering longevity, durability, comfort and a surface that is stain-resistant and easy to clean. Check out this table for a rundown of the available Chevy Silverado EV interiors:

While the Silverado EV Trail Boss that was originally slated to debut with the 2025 model year has been delayed – either to mid-model year or until the 2026 year arrives – the trim level assortment gains a new mid-range configuration, the LT trim. The LT offers an assortment of safety features, conveniences such as heated and ventilated 12-way power adjustable front seats, and available options like the Multi-Flex Midgate and GM Super Cruise.
Pricing, as uncovered by GM Authority, begins with a base MSRP set at $57,095 for the 2WT trim with Standard Range battery. The most expensive trim, the RST trim level with Max Range battery pack, starts at $97,895. Recently going live, the official configurator for the vehicle is available on the Bow Tie site, though only the LT and RST trim levels can be configured for now.
The LT trim’s output is rated at 645 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque, though these figures are achieved only in Wide Open Watts mode. All trims and configurations have four-wheel drive, with GM battery technology and GM drive motor technology providing the power. Extended Range models get 422 miles range per charge, while Max Range variants have an estimated 492 miles of range.
The GM BT1 platform underpins the EV pickup’s second model year as it did with the first year as well. The GM Factory Zero plant in Hamtramck, Michigan is the site currently producing the vehicle.

Why does GM insist on MORBID BLACK interiors. I have 5 new GMC trucks in the last 7 years ALL with MORBID BLACK. I hate it. I had a 2011 Denali with beautiful light tan interior and loved it. No longer available. As we age our eyesight decreases and vehicles with sunroof have precious little dome lights, nor any under dash lighting. Door handles are poorly lit and the headlight (fog lights) switch is conveniently hidden behind the steering wheel. AND it is ALL BLACK. Who builds/designs these. Brighten up the interior
“Why does GM insist on MORBID BLACK interiors.”
Because it’s easy for them to build whether customers like it or not. “Winning with simplicity” is all about cost cutting by minimizing their product development, material and manufacturing costs. It’s a totally myopic, internally focused strategy that will cost them customers. Clearly they don’t care as long as it props up margins near term.
People that want more choices should look at other manufacturers that put more effort into their products.
Black or gray rat fur. That’s the way one of the GM Executives describe their interior colors a few years back, yet nothing has changed.
GM doesn’t listen. They like to dictate what the customer wants. When a competitor comes out with something that is really doing well GM will then follow them.
Gone are the days when GM used to set the trends. Now it just follows them. Sad.
