Featuring slimmer, more agile styling and plentiful tech, including a cockpit headlined by a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch LED display, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is the latest addition to the GM luxury brand’s growing EV lineup. Here, GM Authority is looking in detail at the Cadillac Escalade IQ interior colorways.
Four 2025Â Cadillac Escalade IQ interior colors are offered in total, two shared between the Luxury 1 and Sport 1 trims, and a different pair of colorways for the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 trims. These four colorways include a variety of interior hues, though Backen Black is used as an element in most of the styles.
The Cadillac Escalade IQ interior choices include Inteluxe upholstery on the lower trim levels, which is a leatherette or synthetic leather material made from vinyl. Higher trims have “Nouveauluxe” upholstery, another type of artificial leather substitute. All four Cadillac Escalade IQ interior colorways also feature wood decor and trim pieces as accents.

For motivation, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ utilizes GM electric drive motors that power both the front and rear axles to create an all-wheel drivetrain, while a 39.4-foot turning diameter is provided by standard four-wheel steer. Maximum output is 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque for all configurations of the model, towing capacity is rated at up to 8,000 pounds, while the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a claimed 5 seconds.
A GM-estimated range of 450 miles per charge is offered by the IQ’s 24-module, 200 kWh GM battery pack. About 10 minutes are needed to restore 100 miles of range using the SUV’s 800-volt DC fast charging architecture. The model also provides vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging so it can power a house in the event of an outage.
Production of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan.

Odd to see a Cadillac without the burgundy or red interior
All of the New Cadillacs and Buicks should offer Red, Merlot, Blue, Navy Blue, Brown and White interior colors with coordinating carpet, seat belts and headliner as options in addition to your typical Black, Grey and Tan interior colors. They also should offer different polished wood veneer options as well including Piano Black Trim. An optional Alcantara headliner should also be offered on All Cadillacs and Buicks. Lincoln should offer All of the same color options and Alcantara headliner with their new vehicles as well. Interior colors of All of the New Cadillacs, Buicks and Lincoln’s are boring and unexciting. I remember when American Car Manufacturers offered Red, Burgundy, Navy Blue, Beige, Brown, Butternut Yellow and White interior color options. Wishing they would still offer the same colors and wood veneers today as they did back then.
“Backen Black”? Someone at Cadillac is an AC/DC fan with a sense of humor. Clever, considering that this is an electric vehicle and AC/DC is an electrical term.
Needs the Duramax
For the price point they should be offering leather upholstery instead of the fake leather, no matter the luxo name they call it it’s still FAKE.
How about a hydrogen option dealers could actually SELL?
