While classic cars make great drivers and ornaments in their own right, Hallmark is celebrating Christmas this year with some powerful, eye-catching modern models, too – as highlighted by its 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali ornament.
The diecast 2023 GMC Sierra Denali appears to be colored with a Hallmark interpretation of the Pacific Blue Metallic paint (color code GA0) that was offered on the Pro, SLE, SLT, Denali and Denali Ultimate trims for an extra $495.
The ornament is a crisp and highly detailed die-cast vehicle model, not a cheap plastic creation. Precise and realistic recreations of the grille design, headlight signatures, and what appear to be 22-inch wheels give this tiny replica of the 2023 GMC Sierra even more visual appeal. The wheels are separate pieces attached in such a way that they can be rotated, much like the die-cast toy cars of previous decades.
The Hallmark 2023 GMC Sierra features clearly readable Denali badges on the doors and the tailgate, along with a Denali Ultimate badge on the front quarter panel. The front bumper has silver tow hooks visible, while the rear features a trailer hitch. The front license plate bears the Sierra’s model year, 2023, while the rear bumper is inscribed with the current year of 2024.
Measuring about 4.5 inches long, 1.5 inches high, and 1.9 inches wide, the Hallmark 2023 GMC Sierra Denali ornament is larger than some of the other GM vehicle ornaments the company is offering for Christmas 2024. The ornament comes with a gift box that can be used to give the item as a present. Additionally, the Sierra can be stored safely inside the box in between holidays.
As a reminder, the range-topping Denali Ultimate trim level on which the ornament is based can be equipped with two different powerplants, including the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
Under the body panels, the Sierra 1500 rides on the GM T1 platform. Production of the truck is carried out at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana and GM Silao plant in Mexico.

Hopefully all the brain-dead will buy these ornaments (and there seem to be hundreds to choose from) instead of the real thing. For a change. I saw a comment yesterday (not in here) that some moron was going to go buy a luxury SUV because the stock market was up 1500 points. That’s ON PAPER. But they act as if money magically appeared in their pockets. That mentality HAS to stop. NOW.
Those are not the correct rims for the 2023 model year. Those are from the 2022 model year. Come on Hallmark get it right! lol
For those who were wondering the price for the replica is $21.99 and the trim around the windows should be chrome not black.
Does it come with a 6.2L engine that needs to be replaced?
