About GMC Yukon

The 2024 GMC Yukon dropped the Redwood Metallic paint color and added three new paint colors to the lineup, while the 2024 Yukon Denali Ultimate offered two new wheel options as part of a small number of changes, updates, and new features. Check out what’s new and different for the 2024 Yukon and Yukon XL.

Pricing on the 2024 Yukon has increased on the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trim levels by $900 because the three years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan is no longer included as standard, replaced with three years of OnStar Remote Access. Meanwhile, the OnStar and Connected Services Plan, renamed the OnStar Premium Plan, is standard on both the Denali and Denali Ultimate trim levels. The MSRP of the two range-topping trims each increase by $2,100 for the 2024 model year. The price bump for all of the 2024 Yukon trim levels also includes a destination freight charge increase of $100 to $1,995.

Refreshed 2025 GMC Yukon AT4 Ultimate

Last month, the refreshed 2025 GMC Yukon officially debuted, boasting a long list of updates that enhance its design, comfort, and functionality. It’s highlighted by a refreshed exterior, revamped cabin, and cutting-edge tech, including new towing technology.

The updated SUV introduces two new trim levels: Elevation and AT4 Ultimate. The new AT4 Ultimate coincides with the 5th anniversary of the off-road-focused GMC AT4 sub-brand. Much like the GMC Canyon, Acadia, and Terrain, the 2025 GMC Yukon replaces the SLE and SLT trims with Elevation as the new entry-level one, resulting in the Yukon losing this family friendly seating feature.

The exterior of the 2025 Yukon shows off a truck-like attitude, with unique grille patterns and eye-catching animated lighting signatures. The cabin centers around a large, vertical 16.8-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment Center.

The refreshed 2025 Yukon offers several new appearance packages and updated engine availability, but won’t offer these three paint colors.

To that end, for 2025, the GMC Yukon AT4 finally gets a diesel engine option for the first time, featuring the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine. As before, the 2025 Yukon will continue to offer two gasoline engine options: the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 and naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87.

Pricing uncovered for 2025 GMC Yukon shows the entry-level Elevation with two-wheel drive and 5.3L V8 with an MSRP of $68,895, while the range-topping Denali Ultimate starts at $103,295. The extended-length variant adds $3,000 for each trim of the 2025 GMC Yukon XL. All prices include a $1,995 destination freight charge, which remains unchanged. Here is pricing with options and packages.

Production of the 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL kicked off last month.
