Fresh off a clean sweep of the 2023 NASCAR national series, Chevy repeated its dominance in 2024, securing the manufacturer championships in the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Truck Series for the second consecutive year – and the sixth time overall.
This year’s titles bump The Bow Tie’s tally to 43 NASCAR Cup Series Manufacturer Championship trophies, 26 Bill France Performance Cup (Xfinity Series) wins, and 12 victories in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Manufacturer Championship. It’s also the first time in the sport’s history that a single manufacturer has swept all three divisions in consecutive seasons.
“Winning the manufacturer championship titles in all three NASCAR national series for the second straight year is a remarkable achievement, and we are so proud of all the Chevy teams,” said Scott Bell, Vice President of Chevy, in a press release. “This wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication we’ve seen all season long from Chevrolet engineers, drivers, crew chiefs and teams. We all work together to put the best race cars and trucks on the track every week, and the championships are a true testament to the strength of that collaborative effort across each series.”
Chevy’s first Cup Series manufacturer championship came in 1958. From 2003 through 2015, The Bow Tie set a record by capturing the most consecutive Cup Series manufacturer titles that still stands to this day. Throughout the 2024 Cup Series season, a Chevy Camaro ZL1 race car ended up in Victory Lane 15 times, thanks to Kyle Larson (six wins), William Byron (three wins), Daniel Suarez, Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, Austin Dillon, Ross Chastain and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (one win).
In the Xfinity Series, a Camaro SS visited Victory Lane 18 times, with Austin Hill capturing a division-high four wins. The Bow Tie capped off the season with Justin Allgaier winning the Xfinity Series driver’s championship. Finally, in the Truck Series, Chevy claimed victory 12 times overall.
It’s worth noting that Ford drivers claimed the other two driver championships in 2024 – Joey Logano captured the Cup Series title, while Ty Majeski was the Truck Series champion.

Good work, but does it sell cars/trucks? NASCAR model is the DOA Camaro. GM builds no more Chevrolet or Buick sedans. Will they hang the Corvette name on NASCAR? I don’t watch NASCAR’s left turn marathons so have no advice for them.
