We here at GM Authority are suckers for a fast wagon – with a combination of both speed and space, what else could you need? Now, we’re getting an eyeful of this Chevy Caprice ZL1 wagon rendering, and suffice to say, pardon the drool.
Recently posted online by Cole Attisha, this long-roof Chevy Caprice ZL1 looks fantastic, with muscle-bound attitude and the specs to back it.
For readers who may be unaware, the Chevy Caprice nameplate was offered for a total of six generations, first rolling off the line in the ‘60s before its eventual discontinuation in 2017. The Caprice was offered in a variety of overseas markets and took a number of different forms, but this modern go-fast variant is undoubtedly the one that grabs our attention the most.
Let’s start with the exterior styling. This Chevy Caprice ZL1 rendering incorporates a Camaro-esque front fascia with a massive air intake, as well as slim upper headlights and lighting signatures. A prominent lower lip underlines the wagon’s performance intentions, as does a vented, two-tone hood.
In the corners, we see split spoke wheels that fill the wheel arches, while the wagon sits low to the ground, exuding menace. The wheels house brake calipers with a yellow finish. A vent is seen just behind the front wheels. And of course, there’s a long roofline and four doors for ingress and egress. A chiseled styling line around the rear end emphasizes this ZL1 wagon’s muscularity.
There’s also a rendering of the interior, which incorporates a pair of digital gauge clusters, as well as red detailing in the seats, on the dash, and on the doors. The seats are deep buckets and are marked with a Chevy Bow Tie badge, as well as a shape that’s similar to the GT2 buckets from the C8 Corvette.
As for the mechanicals, this Caprice ZL1 is imagined with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, laying down 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Output is sent rearwards through either the GM six-speed manual or the GM 10-speed automatic.

Outstanding images making effective use of Chevrolet styling details, especially in the interior. Nicely done.
Should have made it. Had the chance when the chevy ss was being made.
Mary would rather make CR-V clones for Karens.
Kinda looks like the avalon
As much as I love a hopped up wagon. This is not it. Way too busy on the sides.
I wish they stop with photos like this it’s like you holding a piece of candy to give a kid knowing you have no intention of giving it to him plus you know “Mary” will not let this see light of day. Her stupid focus is forcing the world to buy ugly expensive battery cars. Styling has turned piss poor GM and Ford/Dodge has made me hate everything coming out and forced on the public. In the meantime GM’s cost to produce a Tahoe is 10,000 but the sticker price is 70,000 look at the profit on one Chevy truck add GMC/Cadillac same platform look at them ring the cash register and laugh not even giving lollipops to the buyers choking on big notes. Please somebody make it make sense!!
