The 2025 Chevy Tahoe launches a refresh, inside and out, of the popular Bow Tie brand sport-utility nameplate. A new turbodiesel engine option under the hood, truck-style exterior aesthetic cues, and a reworked cockpit are among the major changes introduced, Naturally, GM also updated the lineup of Chevy Tahoe wheels, which we’re examining in detail here.
A large variety of 2025 Chevy Tahoe wheels continues to be offered, with one set of standard wheels assigned to each of the SUV’s six trim levels – including the LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier and High Country trims – and an assortment of optional rollers. The Chevy Tahoe wheels for the 2025 model year include 18-inch, 20-inch, 22-inch, and for the first time ever, with availability limited to the RST and High Country trims, 24-inch wheels. GM Authority was the first to uncover the addition of 24-inch rollers to the lineup. Some of the wheel styles are only offered as part of an optional package.
Among those Chevy Tahoe wheels that are standalone options, some are factory-installed, with prices ranging from $425 up to $2,325 depending on the style and trim level. Other standalone choices are LPO or dealer-installed, with prices ranging from $2,225 up to $3,795. Some optional wheel prices are still to be determined as of this writing.

Beyond the various prices for the optional 2025 Chevy Tahoe wheels, GM Authority previously uncovered full MSRP and option pricing details for the SUV model. The entry-level LS starts at $60,495 when equipped with 2WD or $63,495 for 4WD, while the range-topping High Country features a base MSRP of $78,695 for standard 2WD and $81,695 for optional 4WD. These prices include a $1,995 destination freight charge, while potential buyers can use the online configurator tool to try out different builds.
Headlining 2025 model year updates, the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine replaces the previous diesel powerplant, providing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. This engine should be available in March 2025, while the two gasoline powerplants carrying forward from 2024 consist of the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque and the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine cranking out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Engine availability for the 2025 Tahoe’s trims has been updated as part of the refresh as well.
The overhaul of the SUV model extends to an improved rear suspension, while vehicles optioned with the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system will begin shipping sometime during February 2025. The model year will continue to offer the Tahoe RST Performance Edition package (RPO code WPK), originally made available for the 2023 model.

The 2025 sport-utility is underpinned by the GM T1 platform, like the foregoing model years. The Tahoe continues to roll off the assembly line exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas, with the start of regular production occurring in October 2024.

Not impressed, I like the 18” painted aluminum best and the 20” polished aluminum next, the rest not so much.
It’s really great to see the manufacturer offer such a wide variety of style, finish & sizes. Especially when looking at all the “DUB’S. Should increase sales of these as many probably don’t have $3,795 laying around for rims. Now they can be installed at time of sale and be financed in the total. Most OEM’S are getting much better with accessories of all type to also add into total sale price. Good Job GM!
