As GM itself anticipated last week, The Durant Guild has just officially launched the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali line in China.
General Motors’ premium import and lifestyle platform in China launched the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali lineup in the country’s domestic market during the opening of the 2024 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, also known as Auto Guangzhou. As such, the 2025 Yukon Denali officially introduces the GMC brand and represents the automaker’s second halo vehicle that The Durant Guild has launched in the Chinese market.
“As the pinnacle of the 2025 Yukon lineup, the Denali trim combines exceptional performance, advanced technology, and masterful craftsmanship, setting a new benchmark for luxury full-size SUVs in China,” said GM China in a statement. “And the 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate redefines executive luxury, driven by exceptional craftsmanship and comfort,” the company added.
The 2025 GMC Yukon Denali lineup launched by The Durant Guild platform in China includes the standard model of GMC’s flagship trim level and the Denali Ultimate trim as the highest expression of refinement of the American SUV. Both include the most advanced technology and safety features available on the model, while the Denali Ultimate is distinguished by a black GMC badge, exclusive 22-inch wheels and unique dark chrome details.
The Durant Guild confirmed that the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali for the Chinese market is equipped with the 2.7L I4 L3B turbocharged TurboMax gasoline engine, which develops 300 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain configuration is exclusive to the Yukon and Chevy Tahoe units imported to China. In addition, the Yukon also includes the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.
The new 2025 GMC Yukon Denali and Denali Ultimate are now available at The Durant Guild’s network of official stores in China, comprised of seven brand’s experience centers located in key cities across the country, which will expand early next year with the opening of seven additional facilities. Units of GMC’s flagship SUV are imported from the GM Arlington plant in Texas. Here are the prices for the 2025 Yukon Denali lineup in China:
- 2025 Yukon Denali: 808,000 yuan (about $111,760 USD at current exchange rates)
- 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate: 898,000 yuan ($124,210 USD)

How about GM take care of its North American customers first. My 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate was built Oct 21 and is sitting in a lot off site. Four weeks to get a software update. The software update done earlier the week and still not shipped. Multiple calls to Customer Service and the Dealership with no answers. Even contacted the Executive Resolution Liaison office and cannot get back in touch with my representative. Numerous voice mails left but no callback. Before expanding your market overseas, get your act together and take care of your current customers. This is the poorest example of customer less service. To rub salt in the wound, the dealer is getting new Yukons in that we’re ordered long after mine.
