The 2025 GMC Savana is the 30th model year for the first-generation first-size van, debuting only a few small updates and changes over the preceding 2024 model year. Customers can choose between the 2025 GMC Savana Cargo Van and the 2025 GMC Savana Passenger van. The Cargo model is offered in 2500 Regular Wheelbase, 2500 Extended Wheelbase, 3500 Regular Wheelbase, and 3500 Extended Wheelbase configurations, while the Passenger model is offered in 2500 Regular Wheelbase, 3500 Regular Wheelbase, and 3500 Extended Wheelbase configurations.
The least expensive configuration is the Savana Cargo 2500 Regular Wheelbase, which starts at $43,695, while the most expensive configuration is the Savana Passenger 3500 Extended Wheelbase, which starts at $51,245. Please note that prices listed here exclude tax, title, license, dealer fees, and optional equipment.
As for the mechanical spec, the 2025 GMC Savana carries over the same engine and transmission combinations as the preceding model year, offering up the naturally aspirated 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine, rated at 276 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 298 pound-feet of torque at 3,900 rpm, as well as the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, rated at 401 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 464 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. Both engine options connect to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission (V8 models connect to the heavy-duty eight-speed variant), while rear-wheel drive is the exclusive drive type.
Customization options are minimal, with exterior colors are on the configurator are limited to Summit White, Onyx Black, Cardinal Red, and Quicksilver Metallic. Quicksilver Metallic costs an additional $495, while the three other exterior colors are offered at no extra charge. Further color options are available for special order fleet models. Painted white wheels are offered for $25.
Inside, customers are offered a range of seating configurations to meet their needs, with seating for up to 12 passengers accommodated. There’s also standout packages like the Hotel Shuttle Package and Ambulance package to better suit the GMC Savana for the tasks at hand.
