The automaker’s Brazilian subsidiary announced the introduction of the 2025 Chevy Silverado in the domestic market, where the fourth-generation Silverado enters its second model year and debuts the exclusive Multi-Flex tailgate that maximizes the versatility of the most advanced truck in its segment. The 2025 Silverado’s Multi-Flex system allows for expanded cargo area and support, as well as easier access to the bed and loading or unloading of large objects.

“The Multi-Flex tailgate was designed by GM, a world leader in utility vehicle development. This feature reinforces the Silverado as the most innovative, complete and versatile pickup truck in Brazil,” said GM South America pickup manager, Suelen Arice. “A new addition to the 2025 line, this feature makes loading, unloading and accessing the tailgate easier with six different configurations,” she added.

Introduced as the main novelty of the 2025 Chevy Silverado line in Brazil, the Multi-Flex tailgate amplifies the traditional use of the bed lid by using the ingenuity of hinges for a total of six available configurations. With three ways of opening – a button in the cabin, the keyfob or directly on the tailgate, the Multi-Flex system allows the 2025 Silverado to stand out from the competition and reinforces its advantage as the truck with the largest cargo box in the segment.

In particular, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 maintains the same configuration as the previous model year in the Brazilian market by being offered exclusively in range-topping High Country trim with a Crew Cab Short Bed body and a country-exclusive finish. The powertrain is composed of the 5.3L V8 L84 engine with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission, with 4WD as standard.

The 2025 Chevy Silverado High Country with the Multi-Flex tailgate is now available for sale at Chevrolet’s extensive network of official dealers in Brazil, which receives units of the pickup truck imported from the GM Silao plant in Mexico. In addition to the new tailgate, the 2025 Silverado adds Shark Silver as a fourth exterior color available with the existing Abalone White, Global Black and Radiant Red. Here is the price of the pickup truck in Brazil:

  • 2025 Silverado High Country: 548,100 reais (about $94,370 USD at the current exchange rate)
