2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 Gets New Cypress Gray Color: First Look

The retirement of four paint colors from the palette is one of the more significant changes made to the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500, which represents the seventh model year of the fourth generation that it ushers in. In place of the four dropped paints, the truck gets two new colors, Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue Metallic. Here’s a closer look at the Cypress Gray option.

The hue can be ordered on the Custom Trail Boss, LT, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ and High Country trim levels. It cannot be chosen in conjunction with the WT, Custom or RST trims of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500.

  3. I’m curious to see this new color in person. Even though the new color is non-metallic, I’m wondering how it might compare overall to “Green Gray Metallic” from the 90s. That color was an interesting color option on 1995-96 Impala Super Sports, and many other GM vehicles back then.

  8. The non-metallic phase may be what the younger set wants, but us old guys that can afford these vehicles still like the metallic palette. It was bad enough when we had to start paying for metallic paints, but paying extra for the shiny new army cypress gray is a bit much.

Just ordered a new Silverado LTZ and paid the $995 for the old guy color.
