After revealing the first teaser of the crossover in the Philippines in early October, Chevrolet has just officially launched the 2025 Chevy Captiva in the Asian country.
The Bow Tie brand launched the updated 2025 Chevy Captiva in the Philippines in conjunction with its business partner Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the company that distributes Chevrolet products in the Philippine market. As such, the 2025 Captiva complements the brand’s utility portfolio with a special focus on meeting the requirements of large families with a very competitive value offer.
“We’re entering the last quarter of the year with a strong new choice for families,” said HARI Vice Chairman, President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo. “The All-New Chevrolet Captiva offers everything that today’s families need – power, premium comfort, safety, and space – at a price that works for them. With room for seven and the versatility to handle whatever life throws at you, it’s designed to be a solid family vehicle,” she added.
Positioned locally as an affordable three-row crossover or MPV, the 2025 Chevy Captiva arrives in the Philippines in well-equipped LTZ and Premier trim levels. Both come configured as standard with three rows and seven seats, as well as a suite of technology and safety features that make it stand out as the best vehicle overall in its class in the country.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Chevy Captiva is equipped with a powertrain that combines efficiency and good performance, consisting of a turbocharged 1.5L I4 engine that develops 148 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to a continously variable automatic transmission in both trim levels. As in all markets where it is offered, all units of the 2025 Captiva come standard with front-wheel drive.
The updated 2025 Chevy Captiva is now available for sale at the brand’s authorized dealer network in the Philippines, where customers will be able to choose from four exterior colors: White, Grey, Red, and Black. The Philippines becomes the first country in Southeast Asia to market the utility vehicle manufactured by the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture under the Chevrolet brand. Here are the prices for the two versions of the 2025 Captiva in that country:
- 2025 Captiva LTZ: 1,258,000 PHP (about $21,450 USD at current exchange rates)
- 2025 Captiva Premier: 1,408,000 PHP ($23,990 USD)
