First unveiled back in 2022, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV SS is finally coming. This high-performance electric crossover promises practicality and excitement without compromise, and now it’s available with a new Performance Package (RPO F41) to make it even sportier.
The Performance Package available for the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV SS is a brake and tire upgrade. It includes low metallic brake lining (JBL), non-FNC brake rotors (JCN), and 275/40R22 summer-only self-sealing tires (QSA). It does not upgrade the Blazer EV SS’s dual-motor electric powertrain, which is rated at 595 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque.
Pricing is set at $395 for the Performance Package available for the Blazer EV SS. It cannot be ordered with the following wheels, which are available as standalone options:
- 22-inch Bronze Tech wheels (LPO, SMB)
- 22-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO, SF2)
Braking performance is important in performance-oriented electric vehicles because of their considerable weight. The Chevy Blazer EV SS has performance specs close to the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing but will likely weigh more by about 1,000 pounds. The brake and tire upgrade to the Chevy Blazer EV SS will make it easier to stop and control the electric crossover in sporty driving scenarios.
The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV SS got a horsepower increase and confirmed pricing data in September. It was originally supposed to make 557 horsepower, but it was upgraded to its current 595 horsepower rating. Pricing starts at $61,995 for the SS, and all-wheel drive comes standard.
The online configurator is live for the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV, but as of this writing, it is only available for the LT and RS trims in RWD and AWD configurations. 2025 marks the introduction of the FWD Blazer EV, available in LT or RS trims priced at $45,995 and $51,295, respectively. The RS trim is the only one available in FWD, RWD, and AWD configurations.
Like all Blazer EV variants, the SS model rides on the GM BEV3 platform. GM Ultium batteries provide juice to a set of GM Ultium Drive motors. Production takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

More like 1500 lbs over a V8 BW. I’m curious if stiffening and sticky tires will pull any uncouth behaviors out of the chassis. It only happened once, but my Lyriq loaner made quite the creak going over a decent dip in the road.
Does this mean that the tires will only last 15k miles as opposed to the regular tires lasting 25k miles?
Watch the price skyrocket once trump adds the tariff.
A real Super Sport has sound.
