2025 Chevy Blazer EV Presented For The First Time In Argentina

After showing the electric crossover and announcing its arrival in the main countries of South America, General Motors presented the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV for the first time in Argentina.

The automaker presented the new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV during a special event in Argentina called ‘Nuevo Mundo Chevrolet’, where GM’s South American subsidiary reaffirmed its commitment to the country by showcasing multiple product innovations that will expand the Bowtie brand’s offering in the Argentine market. In fact, the company announced that the 2025 Blazer EV will be the first electric vehicle it will introduce locally next year.

“We are undergoing a profound transformation of our brand and our business with the future in mind, to serve our customers with the best portfolio of our 99-year history in the country,” said President of GM South America, Santiago Chamorro. “We celebrate the legacy built over almost a century of presence in Argentina and show what is to come, reaffirming our commitment to continue providing technological, connected, safe and comfortable vehicles,” he added.

As such, the presentation of the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV in Argentina is part of the model’s international expansion strategy that debuts Chevrolet’s new global positioning and image in the region. Although this first public appearance in the South American country is an avant-premiere, the 2025 Blazer EV is expected to lead the series of launches that the brand has lined up to commemorate its 100 years of presence in the Argentine market.

Just like in Brazil and the other South American countries where it has arrived, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV unit presented in Argentina corresponds to the sporty RS trim level that represents the only configuration available in the region. It comes standard with a rear-wheel drivetrain and a single electric motor developing 342 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, fed by a 102 kWh battery pack.

The new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will be officially introduced in Argentina during the first half of next year, as part of the brand’s centennial celebration in that country. Full details on the model’s features and availability will be announced closer to the launch date. As in all other markets announced to date, units of the 2025 Blazer EV for Argentina will be manufactured at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
