Some 2025 Buick Enclave Units Require A Front Brake Pipe Adjustment

The 2025 Buick Enclave is included in a recent GM Service Update related to an issue with certain affected units of the crossover involving contact between the Front RH (right-hand) Brake Pipe and the body frame rail of the vehicle.

A fix is offered by GM Service Update number N242453170, which usually does not require parts, but may need component replacement in a rare minority of vehicles.

Service personnel should verify the issue exists in 2025 Buick Enclave units that are part of inventory or brought to the dealership for any reason by the owner. The GM Global Warranty Management system will indicate affected units as “Open,” with a follow-up inspection to verify. The front RH brake pipe should be 5 millimeters or 0.2 inches from the body frame rail; if it is in contact, the fix should be applied.

Most affected Buick Enclave units can be fixed by moving the brake pipe away from the frame rail, creating “proper clearance” by means of “controlled adjustment.” Approximately 2.5 percent of affected crossovers need full replacement of the right front brake line, along with bleeding of the hydraulic brake plus recovery and recharging of the A/C system.

Both types of fix are offered free of charge to current owners of the affected Buick Enclave unit. This free repair period lasts throughout the interval covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Notably, brake pipe replacement is rare enough so that dealers should not order the component as shelf stocks, particularly with limited supply of the RH brake line currently available.

The 2025 Enclave launches the crossover’s third generation with numerous updates, including a fully overhauled exterior and refreshed cockpit design headlined by a 30-inch infotainment display. Pricing starts at $46,395 for the FWD variant of the Preferred trim and rises to $61,395 for the Avenir configured with AWD.

Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Enclave cradles a single engine choice for all trim levels, the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine developing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the pavement via the GM eight-speed automatic transmission handles gear swaps. Both FWD and AWD configurations are offered.

Under the sheet metal, the 2025 Enclave uses the GM C1 platform for structure. Production of the Tri-Shield crossover takes place at the GM Lansing Township plant in Michigan.
