While the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 introduces an assortment of changes for the current pickup generation’s seventh model year, most of these are relatively minor. While some options have been simplified, GM continues to offer a wealth of 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 wheels to choose from.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 wheels include a standard roller style for each of the truck’s nine trim levels, which consist of the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ and High Country trims. A number of optional Silverado 1500 wheels are also available as standalones or part of packages, with a whopping 25 total styles on offer:
The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 wheels include 17-inch, 18-inch, 20-inch and 22-inch styles, with the largest wheels all being LPO or dealer-installed options. One optional wheel, the 17-inch Ultra Silver painted steel wheel (RPO code RD6), even reduces the truck’s price by $350 for the LT trim if chosen in place of the standard wheel style.
Pricing for the rest of the optional Silverado 1500 wheels ranges from $300 to $4,890, with many LPO options priced in the low to mid $3,000 range. A number of 2025 Silverado 1500 wheels are also included as part of one of the many optional packages offered on the pickup. Most of the higher-end LPO wheels come with 275/50R22SL all-season tires (RPO code XCE).

Moving beyond the wheels, pricing for the 2025 Silverado sees six out of ten trim levels get increased prices for the new model year, hiked by $100 to $800 depending on trim, as GM Authority revealed earlier.
The WT Regular Cab Standard Bed 2WD configuration is the most affordable 2025 Silverado 1500 trim, with a starting price set at $38,995. Meanwhile, at the top end, the ZR2 Bison Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD 6.2L V8 carries a base MSRP of $78,590. You can check out various builds, options, and prices for the pickup’s cornucopia of options by using the currently live online configurator.
Under the hood, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 cradles a quartet of engine choices: the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline TurboMax rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine developing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax with 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
The L3B powerplant makes use of the GM eight-speed automatic transmission for cog swaps. However, all other engine choices are paired with the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive are available.
The GM T1 platform underpins the Silverado 1500, which continues to be produced at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana, the GM Oshawa plant in Canada, and the GM Silao plant in Mexico.
Comments
It’s amazing that GM offers this many wheel options, yet has a very limited paint color palette. Obviously, there’s more profit margin in some of these higher-end wheels, but offering so many choices seems to fly in the face of “winning through simplicity”, right?
I would say the wheel ordering person and the paint ordering person are different people at GM.
25 different wheel options, one interior color choice on WT, Custom and Trail Boss, 4 exterior color paint choices on WT and High Country and only 6 on every other model. Your typical 2020’s malaise era II ride.
