Here Are All The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 Colors

Heralding the seventh model year of the Bow Tie brand’s popular fourth-gen pickup, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 introduces only minor updates from the 2024 model year. However, significant changes are introduced for the lineup of 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 colors.

Four colors were retired after the 2024 model year, with the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 colors losing the previously available Dark Ash Metallic (color code G6M), Glacier Blue Metallic (GLT), Harvest Bronze Metallic (GXN) and Lakeshore Blue Metallic (GXP).

Meanwhile the truck gets two new exterior paints for 2025, Cypress Gray (GBD) and Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV), for a total of nine hues, as seen above. In addition, the number of 2025 Chevy Silverado colors offered on each trim level – including the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ, and range-topping High Country – has been reduced.

For example, 10 colors out of the 11 total that were offered for the 2024 model year were available to order on the 2024 Silverado 1500 LT trim level specifically. However, only 6 are offered on the 2025 model for the LT trim and the rest of the trims. This arrangement might be part of The General’s “Winning with Simplicity” strategy. The following table shows all the relevant availability info for the Silverado 1500 colors:

Notably, four of the Silverado 1500 colors are extra-charge options for 2025, priced at $395, $495, or $995. As usual, the iridescent tricoat option is the most expensive and the tintcoat is the second priciest. As GM Authority previously uncovered, pricing for the 2025 Silverado includes price hikes for six of the ten trim levels, with amounts ranging from $100 to $800.

Starting MSRPs for the pickup begin at $38,995 for the WT Regular Cab Standard Bed 2WD and range up to $78,590 base price for the ZR2 Bison Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD 6.2L V8. The online configurator for the model is currently live, enabling potential buyers to try out various builds and options to see the price for their ideal truck.

As for motivation, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 offers four different powerplant options. These include the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline TurboMax developing 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine cranking out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax rated at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

Drivetrain choices include RWD and 4WD, while the base L3B engine sends power to the pavement via the GM eight-speed automatic, and the e GM 10-speed automatic transmission handles cog swaps for the other three engines.

  1. FINALLY some decent colors from which to choose. Tired of just white and 50 shades of grey.

    1. Just wait, your color won’t be avaiable in the trim level you want… they are contraining and limiting polular colors to specific trims (i.e. LTZ, RST, LT etc..) So if you had a Glacier blue LTZ before, you can’t get it in a 2025 LTZ. Only RST, ZR1, LT and lower trim levels.. Very frustating for customers and dealers..

  2. GMs color department has achieved something amazing, the worst pallette of colors in 50 years. No option for people who don’t like glow in the dark blue, green, brown or sand.

  3. I don’t know who prepared the chart above but the ’25 High Country is only available in 4 colors, Black, Sterling Gray, Radiant Red and Iridescent Pearl according to both my dealer and the configurator. Additionally Red Hot is not available on the LTZ, and from what my dealer tells me at least one color (Riptide) is on a production hold and may not be available before January.

  4. 2 shades of black. 2 shades of gray. 2 shades of red. 2 shades of white. And 1 shade of blue that is ugly compared to the 2 shades of blue they dropped.

On top of this, trim level restricts the shade of the limited number of color choices.

    So awesome.

  5. Going to miss Dark Ash Metallic. Wish they offered that color on the Colorado and Canyons. Sad to see Sand Dune Metallic gone for the midsize trucks too.

  6. Sand Dune is the best color on the Colorado Trail Boss.

  7. No two tone options. Come on GM, bring back the 80’s color schemes.
Current option, solid and boring! Ford and Ram have options…….

  8. Glad I was able to get the better looking Glacier Blue Metallic paint for my 2024 before they stopped that color back in Feb. 2024.
